## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Indeed Jobs Fresh — Job Listings Scraper

> Independent tool, not affiliated with Indeed.

Scrape **job listings from Indeed** across country domains (se, no, dk, de, fr, nl, co.uk, com and more). Get title, company, location, salary snippet, job type, posted date, absolute job URL and description — the raw material for job boards, salary benchmarking and hiring-pipeline automation. Runs on Apify with UNBLOCKER proxy by default to handle Indeed's bot protection.

### Why Indeed Jobs Fresh?

- 🌍 **18 country domains** — one actor for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands, UK, US and more.
- 💰 **Salary & job type snippets** — where Indeed shows them, they're in the record.
- 🕰️ **Freshness filter** — `fromDays` limits results to postings from the last N days.
- 🔗 **Absolute URLs** — every listing links straight to the source page.

### Use cases

Recruitment sourcing pipelines · salary benchmarking · labour-market monitoring by country · competitor hiring tracking · job board content feeds

### What data you get?

| 🏷️ Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| 💼 title | Job title |
| 🏢 company | Hiring company |
| 📍 location | Job location |
| 💰 salarySnippet | Salary snippet (where shown) |
| 📋 jobType | Job type (where shown) |
| 📅 postedDate | Posted date / age |
| 🔗 url | Absolute job URL |
| 📄 description | Job description |

### How to use

1. Add the actor to your Apify account and click **Run**.
2. Enter `q` (e.g. `sjuksköterska`, `software engineer`) and `location`.
3. Pick `countryDomain` (default `se`) and set `fromDays` for freshness (default 14).
4. Set `limit` (default 10, max 50) and export as JSON, CSV or Excel.
5. Proxy defaults to the Apify UNBLOCKER group when not set — leave it unless you have a specific need.

### Input

```json
{
  "q": "sjuksköterska",
  "location": "Stockholm",
  "countryDomain": "se",
  "fromDays": 14,
  "limit": 20
}
```

| Field | Type | Description | Default |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `q` | string | Job search query in the local language | — |
| `location` | string | Where to search (e.g. `Stockholm`, `Berlin`, `New York, NY`) | — |
| `countryDomain` | enum | Indeed domain: `se`, `no`, `dk`, `fi`, `de`, `fr`, `nl`, `es`, `it`, `pl`, `ch`, `at`, `co.uk`, `ie`, `com`, `ca`, `com.au`, `in` | se |
| `fromDays` | integer | Only jobs posted within the last N days | 14 |
| `limit` | integer | Maximum listings returned | 10 (max 50) |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Defaults to UNBLOCKER group — Indeed blocks datacenter IPs | UNBLOCKER |

### Output

```json
{
  "title": "Sjuksköterska, kirurgisk avdelning",
  "company": "Example Region Stockholm",
  "location": "Stockholm",
  "salarySnippet": null,
  "jobType": " heltid",
  "postedDate": "3 dagar sedan",
  "url": "https://se.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=abc123",
  "description": "Vi söker en legitimerad sjuksköterska…"
}
```

Salary snippets and job types appear only where Indeed displays them; run the actor once on a sample query to confirm the latest output shape.

# Actor input Schema

## `q` (type: `string`):

Job search query, e.g. "sjuksköterska", "software engineer", "LKW Fahrer".

## `location` (type: `string`):

Where to search, e.g. "Stockholm", "Berlin", "New York, NY".

## `countryDomain` (type: `string`):

Which Indeed domain to search: se (Sweden), no (Norway), dk, de, fr, nl, co.uk, com (USA/International), etc. Default: se.

## `fromDays` (type: `integer`):

Only show jobs posted within the last N days (Indeed's fromAge filter). Leave empty or 0 for all dates.

## `limit` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of job listings to return (default 10, max 50).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Defaults to the Apify UNBLOCKER proxy group when not set. Indeed blocks datacenter IPs (Cloudflare challenge), so a residential or unblocker proxy is required in practice. UNBLOCKER cost is roughly $0.0002 per page request — a 50-listing run makes ~5 page requests, i.e. well under $0.001/run.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "q": "sjuksköterska",
  "countryDomain": "se",
  "fromDays": 14,
  "limit": 5,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "groups": [
      "UNBLOCKER"
    ]
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Dataset of job listings. Fields: title, company, location, salarySnippet, jobType, postedAt, postedAtIso, jobUrl, descriptionSnippet, sourceQuery.

## `runStats` (type: `string`):

Key-value store entry OUTPUT_STATS: query, domain, counts, status (ok | blocked | parseFailed | noResults) and proxy usage.

## `runView` (type: `string`):

Inspect this run, its logs and storages in Apify Console.
