## Pricing

from $1.70 / 1,000 images

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What is Google Images Scraper?

Google Images Scraper returns Google Image search results for one or more keywords: image URL, source page URL, title, source domain and image size. It fetches the search page through Apify's GOOGLE_SERP proxy group, so it needs no browser. One row per image result.

### What data does Google Images Scraper extract?

- `position`: rank of the image in that query's results
- `query`: the keyword searched
- `title`: the title Google shows for the source page
- `sourcePageUrl`: the page the image was found on
- `imageUrl`: the full-size image URL
- `imageWidth`, `imageHeight`: full-size image dimensions reported by Google
- `displayedDomain`: domain of the source page
- `searchUrl`: the Google search URL used
- `fetchError`: filled only when the proxy was unavailable

### How to use Google Images Scraper

1. Open the Actor and enter one or more keywords in **Search queries**.
2. Set **Max images per query** (up to 100).
3. Run it and download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Example input

```json
{
    "queries": ["red running shoes", "trail running shoes"],
    "maxResultsPerQuery": 30,
    "countryCode": "us",
    "languageCode": "en"
}
```

### Example output

Real output from a cloud run on 23 Oct 2026 (input above, 2 queries, 30 rows per query, 60 rows in total):

```json
{
  "position": 1,
  "query": "red running shoes",
  "title": "ASICS Women's Bloomstride - Speed Red/Beniimo Purple - Size 12",
  "sourcePageUrl": "https://www.asics.com/us/en-us/bloomstride/p/ANA_1012C019-600.html",
  "imageUrl": "https://images.asics.com/is/image/asics/1012C019_600_SL_LT_GLB-1?$sfcc-product$",
  "imageWidth": 512,
  "imageHeight": 683,
  "displayedDomain": "asics.com",
  "searchUrl": "http://www.google.com/search?q=red+running+shoes&tbm=isch&hl=en&gl=us",
  "fetchError": null
}
```

### Input parameters

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `queries` | array of strings | `["red running shoes"]` | Keywords to search in Google Images. |
| `maxResultsPerQuery` | integer 1-100 | 20 | Rows per query. One Google request returns about 100 image tiles. |
| `countryCode` | string | `us` | Google country (`gl`). |
| `languageCode` | string | `en` | Google interface language (`hl`). |

### Pricing

Pay per image result (pay-per-event, default dataset item). Price and tiers are set in the Apify Console; see the Actor page for the current price.

### FAQ

**Why is the result count sometimes below the limit?** Google returns one page of about 100 image tiles per query through this proxy. If the page has fewer usable image links, fewer rows are returned.

**Why is `imageWidth` or `title` empty for some rows?** Google does not send those fields for every tile.

**Does it need a login or a browser?** No. It uses the Apify GOOGLE_SERP proxy group only.
