## Pricing

from $2.20 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What is Google Shopping Scraper?

Google Shopping Scraper returns the product results Google shows for a keyword: product title, price, seller, rating and review count. It fetches the Google Shopping page (`tbm=shop`) through Apify's GOOGLE_SERP proxy group, so it needs no browser. One row per product card.

### What data does Google Shopping Scraper extract?

- `position`: rank of the product card in that query's results
- `query`: the keyword searched
- `title`: product title
- `price`, `currency`, `priceText`: numeric price, currency marker and the price as shown
- `seller`: the merchant shown under the price
- `rating`, `reviewCount`: rating and review count when Google shows them
- `productUrl`, `imageUrl`: currently null (see FAQ)
- `searchUrl`: the Google search URL used
- `fetchError`: filled only when the proxy was unavailable

### How to use Google Shopping Scraper

1. Enter one or more product searches in **Search queries**.
2. Set **Max products per query** (up to 100).
3. Run it and download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Example input

```json
{
    "queries": ["wireless headphones", "bluetooth speaker"],
    "maxResultsPerQuery": 30,
    "countryCode": "us",
    "languageCode": "en"
}
```

### Example output

Real output from a cloud run on 23 Oct 2026 (2 queries, 30 rows each, 60 rows in total):

```json
{
  "position": 1,
  "query": "wireless headphones",
  "title": "JLab Go Lux ANC On-Ear Headphones",
  "priceText": "$36.99",
  "price": 36.99,
  "currency": "$",
  "seller": "Target",
  "rating": 4.6,
  "reviewCount": 722,
  "productUrl": null,
  "imageUrl": null,
  "searchUrl": "http://www.google.com/search?q=wireless+headphones&tbm=shop&hl=en&gl=us",
  "fetchError": null
}
```

### Input parameters

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `queries` | array of strings | `["wireless headphones"]` | Product searches. |
| `maxResultsPerQuery` | integer 1-100 | 20 | Rows per query. |
| `countryCode` | string | `us` | Google country (`gl`). |
| `languageCode` | string | `en` | Google interface language (`hl`). |

### Pricing

Pay per product row (pay-per-event, default dataset item): $0.003 per product on the FREE plan, volume tiers down to $0.0022 (PLATINUM, DIAMOND), plus a small start event. Measured on 23 Oct 2026 cloud runs: compute about $0.0001 per 20 rows, plus one GOOGLE_SERP request at $0.0025 for roughly 40 product cards. That is about $0.07 per 1,000 products, well under the price.

### FAQ

**Why are `productUrl` and `imageUrl` empty?** In the layout Google served through the proxy on 23 Oct 2026, product cards carry no merchant or product link in the HTML, and thumbnails are lazy placeholders. Those fields stay null rather than guessed.

**Why do currencies differ between runs?** Google picks the currency and language from the proxy's location. The `currency` and `priceText` fields show what Google returned; they are not converted.

**Why is the price empty for some rows?** About 17% of cards in the test page showed no visible price token (e.g. sponsored or unpriced listings). Those rows are kept with `price` null.

**Does it need a login or a browser?** No. It uses the Apify GOOGLE_SERP proxy group only.
