## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Monitor: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee

Get **every open job** straight from companies' own career sites, and track **new and removed jobs** over time. Enter a company's website domain and the Actor finds which applicant tracking system (ATS) it uses. You don't need to know whether Stripe uses Greenhouse or OpenAI uses Ashby.

Common uses:

- **Sales prospecting on hiring signals:** a company hiring 20 SDRs is buying sales tools.
- **Investors and analysts:** headcount growth by department and country.
- **Recruiters and job boards:** fresh roles at target companies.
- **Job seekers:** alerts for new roles at dream companies.

### Why this one

- **6 ATS platforms in one schema:** Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters and Recruitee.
- **Auto-detects the ATS from a domain:** reads the careers page and falls back to probing each platform.
- **Change monitoring:** `monitor` mode marks each job as `open`, `new` or `removed`; `new` mode returns only the changes. Schedule it daily for a hiring-signal feed.
- **Hiring summary per company:** open roles, new and removed counts, and openings by department and location.
- **Official public job-board APIs:** fast, reliable and cheap. No browser and no proxy needed.
- **Salary and compensation** where the ATS publishes it (Lever, Ashby, Recruitee).

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe.com", "ashby:openai", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir"],
  "mode": "monitor",
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer"],
  "locationKeywords": ["remote", "US"],
  "includeDescription": false
}
```

Companies can be given as:

- a domain (`stripe.com`)
- a board link (`https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai`)
- `ats:slug` (`greenhouse:stripe`, `lever:palantir`, `smartrecruiters:BoschGroup`)

### Output

Job rows (`"type": "job"`):

```json
{
  "type": "job",
  "status": "new",
  "ats": "greenhouse",
  "board": "greenhouse:stripe",
  "companyName": "Stripe",
  "jobId": "8172508",
  "title": "Abuse Investigator",
  "department": "Security Analytics",
  "location": "Dublin",
  "workplaceType": "Hybrid",
  "employmentType": "Full-time",
  "compensation": "$150K – $200K",
  "url": "https://stripe.com/jobs/search?gh_jid=8172508",
  "postedAt": "2026-09-09T10:50:29-04:00",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-03T04:01:00Z"
}
```

Company rows (`"type": "company"`): `openJobs`, `newJobs`, `removedJobs`, `byDepartment` and `byLocation`.

### Monitoring

- The first `monitor` or `new` run records a baseline.
- Each later run compares against the previous one: new jobs are marked `new`, and closed jobs come back as `removed` rows.
- State is kept per job board in your own Apify storage.

### Pricing

- **$1.00 per 1,000 job rows**
- **$5 per 1,000 company summaries** ($0.005 each)

Companies whose ATS can't be found return a free `error` row. You can set a maximum cost per run.

### Limits

- Only companies that use one of the six supported platforms with a public job board.
- Workday, iCIMS and Taleo aren't supported yet.
- Job data comes from each company's own public postings. The Actor collects no personal data about candidates or recruiters.

Questions or requests: open an issue or email **hello@weirworks.com**.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Company website domains (e.g. <code>stripe.com</code>), job-board links (e.g. <code>https://jobs.lever.co/palantir</code>) or <code>ats:slug</code> (e.g. <code>greenhouse:stripe</code>, <code>ashby:openai</code>). Supported: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee.

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Monitor modes remember each board between runs. The first run records a baseline; later runs mark jobs as new or removed.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Only jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. <code>engineer</code>, <code>sales</code>.

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

Only jobs whose location, country or workplace type contains any of these, e.g. <code>remote</code>, <code>London</code>, <code>US</code>.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Only jobs in departments containing any of these words.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit on job rows per company (summaries always count every open job).

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the plain-text job description.

## `includeCompanySummary` (type: `boolean`):

One extra row per company: open jobs, new and removed counts, and openings by department and location.

## `reportRemovedJobs` (type: `boolean`):

In monitor modes, also output jobs that disappeared since the last run (filled or closed).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Not needed: these are official public job-board APIs.
