## New Business Filings Monitor — 6 Official State Sources

Get **brand-new business registrations** — the freshest B2B leads that exist —
from **six official US state government data sources** in one normalized feed:
**NY, CO, OR, CT, PA, TX**. New businesses need insurance, banking, bookkeeping,
websites, equipment, and services *right now*; this actor tells you who they
are, where they are, and (where the state publishes it) how to reach them.

No API keys, no logins, no scraping of protected portals — every record comes
from an official state open-data endpoint and carries a `sourceUrl` and
`retrievedAt` timestamp so you can verify it yourself.

- **states** — any of `NY`, `CO`, `OR`, `CT`, `PA`, `TX`. Omit for all six.
- **daysBack** — look-back window in days (default 7). For a continuous feed,
  **schedule the actor daily with `daysBack` 1–3** (NY/CO/OR/CT). **PA needs
  `daysBack` 10+** because of its source's ~1-week publish lag — run PA on its
  own weekly schedule to avoid duplicate leads.
- **sinceDate** — optional fixed start date (`YYYY-MM-DD`); overrides `daysBack`.
- **maxResultsPerState** — cap per state (default 100, max 1,000).

### Freshness, stated honestly (per state)

Every record carries its source's real cadence in `sourceFreshness` — we'd
rather tell you a source lags than let you find out from a stale lead.

**Other honest limitations:** states publish different fields — email/NAICS are
CT-only, agent names are strongest in CO/OR, and NY's address is the
service-of-process address. Where a state doesn't publish a field, it is `null`
rather than guessed.
