## Pricing

from $0.30 / 1,000 videos

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## YouTube Channel Scraper

Get every video, Short and live stream from any YouTube channel for $0.50 per 1,000 videos, with views, duration, dates and channel stats.

### 📦 What you get

Paste one or more channels. We return one row per video with:

- Video ID, URL, title, type (video, short or live), views, duration, relative publish time and thumbnail.
- Channel info in every row: subscribers, total videos, total views, country, join date, verified badge and avatar.
- Optional video details: exact likes, comment count, exact views, publish date, full description and hashtags.

You can take the Videos, Shorts and Live tabs in one run, each with its own limit, sorted by latest, most popular or oldest.

A basic row (real output for `@mkbhd`):

### 💰 Pricing

You pay only for video rows. Each video is charged once per run.

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Video (basic row) | $0.50 per 1,000 videos |
| Video with details | $1.00 per 1,000 videos |
| Channel not found, empty channel, unavailable tab, invalid input, run summary | Free |

Higher Apify plans get lower prices: $0.45 / $0.40 / $0.30 per 1,000 videos on Starter / Scale / Business, and $0.90 / $0.80 / $0.60 with details.

If details cannot be fetched for a video, the row is charged as a basic video.

Examples:

| Run | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1,000 latest videos | $0.50 |
| A whole channel with 26,000 videos | about $13 |
| 2,000 videos with details | $2.00 |

Set a maximum cost per run in Apify Console and the run stops when it reaches it.

### ⚙️ Input

| Field | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| `channels` | list of strings | none | Channel URLs, @handles, channel IDs (UC...), or old /c/ and /user/ URLs. One per line. |

### 🎯 Common uses

- Export YouTube channel videos to CSV, Excel or JSON.
- Get a full YouTube channel video list with views and dates.
- YouTube Shorts scraper for any channel, sorted by popular.
- List all live streams of a channel, past and live now.
- Competitor channel monitoring: compare views, upload rate and engagement.
- Track channel uploads on a schedule and catch new videos with `oldestPostDate`.
- No API key, no YouTube Data API quota, no login.

### 📝 Limits and notes

- Subscriber counts are rounded by YouTube (21.4M), so `channelSubscriberCount` is rounded too.
- Shorts have no date and no duration in the channel list, so `publishedTimeText` and `duration` are empty for Shorts.
- `oldestPostDate` uses the relative time YouTube shows ("3 months ago"), so it is approximate. With video details on it uses the exact publish day.
- Streams that are live now have no view count. Check `isLiveNow`; `viewCountText` then shows the watching count.
- Very large channels work. We tested a channel with 26,000+ videos.
- Only public content is collected. Private, unlisted and members-only videos are not included.

### ❓ FAQ

**Do I need a YouTube API key or account?**
No. Paste channel links and run.

**Can I scrape many channels in one run?**
Yes. Add as many channels as you like. Each one gets its own limits per tab, and a failed channel does not stop the others.

**Am I charged for channels that do not exist?**
No. Channels not found, empty channels, missing tabs and the run summary are free.

**How fast is it?**
A basic listing takes a few seconds per 1,000 videos. Video details need extra requests per video, so they take longer.

**Can I get only new videos since my last run?**
Yes. Use sortBy = latest and set `oldestPostDate`, for example "7 days", and schedule the run in Apify Console.

# Actor input Schema

## `channels` (type: `array`):

YouTube channels to scrape. Paste channel URLs, @handles (like @mkbhd), channel IDs (UC...), or old /c/ and /user/ URLs. One per line.

## `maxVideos` (type: `integer`):

How many videos to take from the Videos tab of each channel. Set 0 to skip this tab.

## `maxShorts` (type: `integer`):

How many Shorts to take from the Shorts tab of each channel. Set 0 to skip this tab.

## `maxStreams` (type: `integer`):

How many live streams (past and live now) to take from the Live tab of each channel. Set 0 to skip this tab.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the videos in each tab, the same as the sort buttons on the channel page.

## `oldestPostDate` (type: `string`):

Optional. A date like 2026-01-31 or a relative time like "30 days", "2 weeks", "3 months". Works with Sort by = Latest: a tab stops once its videos are older. The check uses the relative time YouTube shows in the list (like "3 months ago"), so it is approximate; with video details on it uses the exact publish day. Not applied to Shorts, because YouTube lists Shorts without a date.

## `includeVideoDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Add exact likes, comment count, exact views, publish date, full description and hashtags for every video. Needs extra requests per video, so it is slower and changes the price per video (see Pricing in the README).

## `includeChannelInfo` (type: `boolean`):

Add channel subscribers, total videos, total views, country, join date, verified badge and avatar to every row.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many channels are processed at the same time. Video detail requests run at twice this number (up to 20).
