## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU Career Site Jobs Scraper: Teamtailor, Personio, Recruitee, Workable, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby

Get **every open job straight from company career sites**, from the applicant tracking systems (ATS) that European companies actually use. One run, one clean schema, **7 ATS platforms**, including the Nordic and DACH favourites **Teamtailor, Personio and Recruitee** that most job scrapers skip.

### Why this Actor

- **Official public job feeds only.** It reads the same JSON/XML/RSS feeds companies publish for job distribution. No login, no proxies, no headless browser, robots.txt respected, so it's fast (about 500 jobs in under 10 s) and cheap.
- **7 ATS in one schema.** Mix Teamtailor, Personio, Recruitee, Workable, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby in a single run.
- **Paste URLs and go.** The ATS and company slug are detected automatically from the career page URL.
- **Monitoring mode.** Schedule it daily and get (and pay for) **only new postings**.
- **Filters:** title keywords, locations, remote only, posted within N days, max jobs.
- **Full descriptions as plain text**, ready for LLMs, search indexes or spreadsheets.
- **Privacy by design.** Recruiter names, emails and other contact fields that some feeds contain are **never exported**. You get job data, not personal data.
- **Respects robots.txt.** Each site's robots.txt is read once per run and honoured: disallowed URLs are skipped (and never charged), Crawl-delay is respected (at least 1 s for Lever), and a site whose robots.txt is unavailable (server error) is skipped for that run. Content signals such as `ai-train=no` are honoured: this Actor does **not** use any data for AI training.

### Who uses it

- **Job boards and aggregators** filling niche boards (e.g. Nordic tech, remote EU, climate jobs)
- **Recruiters and staffing agencies** mapping who is hiring for what, and where
- **Sales and market-intelligence teams** using hiring as a buying signal ("hiring 5 data engineers in Copenhagen")
- **Job seekers** watching their dream employers on a schedule with Slack or email alerts (via Apify integrations, Zapier, Make, n8n)

### How to use

1. Add career page URLs, e.g. `https://lunar.teamtailor.com`, `https://ottonova.jobs.personio.de`, `https://jobs.lever.co/spotify`.
2. Optionally set filters (keywords, locations, remote, days).
3. Run, then download as JSON, CSV, Excel, or use the API.
4. For alerts: turn on **Monitoring mode**, then create a **Schedule** (e.g. daily) and an integration (Slack, email, webhook).

#### Input example

```json
{
  "careerPageUrls": [
    "https://lunar.teamtailor.com",
    "https://ottonova.jobs.personio.de",
    "https://bunq.recruitee.com",
    "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/linear"
  ],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["Denmark", "Remote"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "includeDescription": true,
  "onlyNewJobs": false
}
```

#### Supported career sites

| ATS | URL pattern |
|---|---|
| Teamtailor | `https://<company>.teamtailor.com` (custom domains: use `companies` with the full host) |
| Personio | `https://<company>.jobs.personio.de` or `.com` |
| Recruitee | `https://<company>.recruitee.com` |
| Workable | `https://apply.workable.com/<company>` |
| Greenhouse | `https://boards.greenhouse.io/<company>` or `job-boards.greenhouse.io/<company>` |
| Lever | `https://jobs.lever.co/<company>` |
| Ashby | `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/<company>` |

### Output

One dataset item per job:

```json
{
  "ats": "teamtailor",
  "company": "Lunar",
  "companySlug": "lunar",
  "jobId": "2f105dc1-4a39-4f3a-834b-f8c62f74782c",
  "title": "Data Analyst (FCP)",
  "department": "FCP",
  "team": null,
  "locations": ["Copenhagen, Denmark"],
  "country": "Denmark",
  "city": "København",
  "remote": false,
  "workplaceType": "onsite",
  "employmentType": null,
  "postedAt": "2026-10-09T11:19:20+00:00",
  "updatedAt": null,
  "url": "https://jobs.lunar.app/jobs/8525014-data-analyst-fcp",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.lunar.app/jobs/8525014-data-analyst-fcp",
  "salary": null,
  "descriptionText": "Banking hasn't changed much in decades…",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-10T02:30:00+00:00"
}
```

Fields an ATS doesn't publish are `null`. Salary is filled when the company publishes it (Lever, Ashby, Recruitee). See `sample_output.json` for one example per ATS.

### Pricing

**Pay per result: $1.50 per 1,000 jobs** (plus the tiny standard Actor start fee). Unsupported URLs, failed companies and filtered-out jobs are never charged. Set a maximum cost per run in run options; the Actor stops cleanly at your limit.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?** The Actor only reads public job feeds that the ATS vendors provide for publishing jobs (no login, no bypassing of any protection) and doesn't export personal data. You're responsible for how you use the data, e.g. respecting each company's terms when republishing job ads.

**A company's career page isn't on this list.** Open an issue with the URL. More ATS (e.g. Workday, Jobylon, HR Manager) may be added based on demand.

**How fresh is the data?** It is fetched live from the ATS at run time.

**Why are some descriptions missing for Personio?** Personio companies can hide descriptions in their feed. The Actor then reads the public job page instead; if that fails too, the field is `null`.

### Privacy: personal contact data is removed

Personal contact data is removed. Every sentence, line or HTML block that contains an email address, a phone number or a contact cue (e.g. "contact", "Kontakt", "Ansprechpartner/in", "questions", "reach out", "recruiter", "hiring manager") is dropped from all text fields, any remaining emails/phones are replaced with `[redacted]`, and contact-person, recruiter and hiring-manager fields are not exported. To contact the employer, **see the employer's original posting** via `url` / `applyUrl` — every item links back to it, and the employer stays in control of its own contact details there.

### Terms of use

You may not use this Actor's output to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI or machine-learning models. Some source job boards (e.g. Workable, Teamtailor) signal `ai-train=no`, and we pass that restriction on.

# Actor input Schema

## `careerPageUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste company career-site URLs. The ATS is detected automatically. Supported: <code>*.teamtailor.com</code>, <code>*.jobs.personio.de</code> / <code>.com</code>, <code>\*.recruitee.com</code>, <code>apply.workable.com/\<company></code>, <code>boards.greenhouse.io/\<company></code>, <code>jobs.lever.co/\<company></code>, <code>jobs.ashbyhq.com/\<company></code>. Unsupported URLs are skipped and never charged.

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Alternative to URLs, e.g. <code>\[{"ats": "teamtailor", "slug": "lunar"}]</code>. <code>ats</code> is one of greenhouse, lever, ashby, workable, recruitee, personio, teamtailor. For Teamtailor sites on a custom domain, use the full host as slug (e.g. <code>careers.example.com</code>).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title, department or team contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location, city or country contains any of these strings, e.g. Denmark, Copenhagen, København, Remote.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs the ATS marks as remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Skip jobs published earlier. Leave empty for all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the plain-text job description. Turn off for faster, lighter runs.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers job IDs between runs (in a named key-value store in your account), so scheduled runs return and charge only for postings you have not seen yet. The first run returns everything.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Use different names to keep separate monitors (e.g. one per client).

## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs (0 = no limit). You can also set a maximum cost per run in run options.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Safety cap: at most this many jobs are kept per company board.
