## Pricing

from $1.10 / 1,000 keyword results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Amazon Keyword Research & Reverse ASIN: a pay-per-use Helium 10 Cerebro alternative

**Amazon Keyword Research & Reverse ASIN** gives Amazon sellers and agencies three tools in one Actor:

- 🔁 **Reverse ASIN**: enter any ASIN (yours or a competitor's) and get **every keyword it ranks for**, with **Amazon search volume**, the product's **organic rank**, **Amazon's Choice / Best Seller** badges, price, rating and "bought in past month".
- 💡 **Keyword ideas**: related Amazon search terms for a seed keyword, with volume (optionally only long-tail phrases that contain the seed).
- 📊 **Bulk search volume**: monthly Amazon searches for up to 10,000 keywords.

No subscription, no Amazon login, no browser extension. **$1.50 per 1,000 keywords** plus $0.03 per lookup: a full reverse-ASIN pull of 1,000 keywords costs about **$1.53** (Helium 10 and Jungle Scout plans start around $39-$99 a month).

### How to do a reverse ASIN lookup

1. Keep **Mode** on *Reverse ASIN*.
2. Paste ASINs or Amazon product URLs into **ASINs**.
3. Optional: **Min search volume** (e.g. 500) and **Max rank** (e.g. 20 = keywords where the product is on page 1).
4. Click **Start**. Sort by volume to find the keywords that drive the product's sales.

### Input examples

{ "mode": "reverse_asin", "asins": ["B09B8V1LZ3"], "maxKeywords": 500, "minSearchVolume": 100 }
```
```

```json
{ "mode": "search_volume", "keywords": ["yoga mat", "yoga mat thick", "non slip yoga mat"] }
```

### Output example (reverse ASIN)

### Pricing

Pay-per-event pricing. Paid Apify plans get automatic volume discounts (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

| Event | Price |
| --- | --- |
| Keyword result (`keyword-result`) | **$0.0015** per keyword row ($1.50 per 1,000) |
| Data request (`data-request`) | **$0.03** per lookup (one per ASIN or seed, plus one per 1,000 rows) |

| Example run | Cost |
| --- | --- |
| 1 ASIN, 100 keywords (default) | $0.18 |
| 1 ASIN, 1,000 keywords | $1.53 |
| 10 competitor ASINs, 500 keywords each | $7.80 |
| 10,000 keywords bulk search volume | $15.30 |

**Free Apify plan:** 1 ASIN or seed keyword and 50 keywords per run.

### Marketplaces

`amazon.com` (United States, English) plus `amazon.sa`, `amazon.ae` and `amazon.eg` (Arabic). These are the Amazon markets the licensed keyword database covers today.

### Use it through the API, on a schedule or with AI agents

**One-link MCP setup:** `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=wrenfield-data/amazon-keyword-research` (Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client). Set `maxTotalChargeUsd` on the run to cap what it can charge.

Call it from the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n and Google Sheets, or let an AI agent use it through the Apify MCP server (the default run finishes in a few seconds).

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?**
From DataForSEO Labs, a licensed keyword and ranking database built from Amazon search results. The Actor doesn't log in to Amazon, doesn't use Seller Central or Brand Analytics data and doesn't scrape Amazon itself.

**How accurate is the search volume?**
It's an estimate (Amazon doesn't publish search volume), updated about monthly. Use it to compare keywords with each other; Brand Analytics in Seller Central has Amazon's own search frequency ranks.

**Why are some ideas only loosely related?**
*Keyword ideas* follows Amazon's related-search graph. Turn on **must contain the seed** for long-tail variations of your phrase only.
