## Pricing

from $2.20 / 1,000 result rows

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SEO Toolkit All-in-One: an Ahrefs and Semrush alternative for domains, keywords, backlinks and SERPs

**SEO Toolkit All-in-One** puts the core reports of Ahrefs and Semrush into one pay-per-use Actor: **domain overview, ranked keywords, organic competitors, top pages, backlinks, referring domains, keyword metrics and live Google SERPs**. It uses licensed SEO data. Nothing is scraped from Ahrefs or Semrush, so there are no logins, no subscriptions and no broken runs when those sites change.

Pick a **tool**, give it **targets** (domains or URLs) or **keywords**, and get clean, flat rows.

| Tool | Input | What you get (one row per …) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `domain_overview` | domains | domain: organic keywords, traffic, traffic value, top-3/top-10 counts, new/lost keywords, paid keywords, **domain rank, backlinks, referring domains, spam score** |
| `ranked_keywords` | domains / URLs | keyword the target ranks for: position, URL, volume, CPC, KD, intent, traffic, position change, SERP features |
| `competitors` | domains | competing domain: shared keywords, average position, their keywords, traffic and traffic value |
| `top_pages` | domains | page: organic traffic, keywords, top-10 count, traffic value |
| `backlinks` | domains / URLs | backlink (strongest per referring domain by default): source URL, anchor, dofollow, link type, source rank, spam score, first/last seen |
| `referring_domains` | domains / URLs | linking domain: rank, backlinks, referring pages, spam score, first seen |
| `keyword_overview` | keywords | keyword: volume, CPC, competition, KD, intent, SERP features, AI Overview flag, trend |
| `serp` | keywords | Google result (top 10-100): position, URL, title, snippet, featured snippet, ads, AI Overview flag |

- 🤖 **One MCP tool for AI agents**: a single `tool` parameter covers 8 SEO reports, and every output field is described in the dataset schema. The default settings finish in seconds.
- 💸 **Pay per use**: a full domain overview costs **$0.093**, and 1,000 ranked keywords or backlinks cost about **$3**. There's no $129+/month plan.
- 🌍 **90+ countries and languages** for keyword, traffic and SERP data.

### How to use it

1. Choose a **Tool**, for example `domain_overview`.
2. Add **Targets** (`example.com`, or a page URL) or **Keywords** for `keyword_overview` and `serp`.
3. Pick the **Country** and set **Max results** (the default of 50 rows per target is quick and cheap).
4. Click **Start**. Each tool has its own table view; all fields are in the JSON export.

### Input examples

```json
{ "tool": "domain_overview", "targets": ["backlinko.com", "ahrefs.com"], "location": "United States" }
```

```json
{ "tool": "ranked_keywords", "targets": ["backlinko.com"], "maxResults": 1000 }
```

```json
{ "tool": "serp", "keywords": ["best crm", "crm for startups"], "serpDepth": 20 }
```

### Output example (`domain_overview`)

```json
{
    "tool": "domain_overview",
    "target": "backlinko.com",
    "organic_keywords": 30602,
    "organic_traffic": 19941,
    "organic_traffic_value_usd": 143138.0,
    "top3_keywords": 902,
    "top10_keywords": 4584,
    "new_keywords": 8399,
    "lost_keywords": 19734,
    "paid_keywords": 0,
    "domain_rank": 493,
    "backlinks": 880393,
    "referring_domains": 59919,
    "referring_main_domains": 56042,
    "spam_score": 2,
    "first_seen": "2019-01-15T23:01:11Z",
    "found": true,
    "location": "United States",
    "language": "English"
}
```

### Pricing

This Actor uses **pay-per-event** pricing. Paid Apify plans get automatic volume discounts on result rows.

| Event | Price | When |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Result row (`result-row`) | **$0.003** | per row returned (any tool) |
| SEO data request (`data-request`) | **$0.03** | per keyword/traffic database lookup (up to 1,000 rows; 700 keywords for keyword_overview) |
| Backlinks request (`backlinks-request`) | **$0.06** | per backlink-index lookup (up to 1,000 rows; domain_overview with backlink metrics) |
| SERP request (`serp-request`) | **$0.005** | per 10 Google results checked (serp tool) |

| Example run | Cost |
| --- | --- |
| Domain overview, 1 domain, with backlink metrics | $0.093 |
| Domain overview, 1 domain, traffic only (`includeBacklinks: false`) | $0.033 |
| 1,000 ranked keywords of one domain | $3.03 |
| 1,000 backlinks of one domain | $3.06 |
| Live top 10 for 100 keywords (~9 rows each) | ~$3.20 |
| Keyword overview for 1,000 keywords | $3.06 |

Rows that don't exist aren't charged. Set **Maximum cost per run** to cap your spend; the Actor stops cleanly at the cap.

**Free Apify plan:** 1 target (or 3 keywords) and 20 rows per run. Domain overview runs without backlink metrics, and the `backlinks` and `referring_domains` tools need a paid plan.

### For agencies: run your whole client book

Pulling domain reports for several clients? Turn the whole book into client-ready weekly packets. [Agency AI Visibility Reports](https://apify.com/wrenfield-data/agency-ai-visibility-reports) takes one CSV row per client and returns a finished, white-label packet per client (HTML + PDF): whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode name the client, competitor share of voice, Google rankings, quoted evidence and a ranked action queue, plus one portfolio page for the whole book. Save it as a task and schedule it weekly for week-over-week change.

```csv
client,domain,competitors,category,keywords
Help Scout,helpscout.com,Zendesk | zendesk.com; Freshdesk | freshworks.com; Intercom | intercom.com,help desk software,help desk software; shared inbox software
Pipedrive,pipedrive.com,HubSpot | hubspot.com; Salesforce | salesforce.com,CRM for small business,crm for small business
```

**$12 per client packet** ($8 each for books of 20-49 clients, $7 each at 50+). The Store price box lists this as "$12,000 / 1,000 packets"; that is the same $12 per packet. Turn on **Quote only** for a free count of packets and the maximum price before anything runs; only completed packets are charged.

### Use it through the API, on a schedule or with AI agents

**One-link MCP setup:** `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=wrenfield-data/seo-toolkit` (Claude, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client). Set `maxTotalChargeUsd` on the run to cap what it can charge.

Call it from Python, JavaScript or any HTTP client with the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), schedule weekly competitor reports, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n and Google Sheets. AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) can call it through the Apify MCP server as one SEO tool.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/wrenfield-data~seo-toolkit/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"tool": "domain_overview", "targets": ["backlinko.com"]}'
```

### FAQ

**Does it scrape Ahrefs or Semrush?**
No. It uses licensed DataForSEO Labs, Backlinks and SERP APIs. Metrics are comparable in purpose but not identical: for example, `domain_rank` (0-1000) is not Ahrefs DR.

**Do I need an API key or account anywhere else?**
No. Everything is included in the pay-per-event price; you only need an Apify account.

**How fresh is the data?**
SERPs are live. Keyword and traffic metrics are refreshed monthly, and the backlink index is crawled continuously.
