## Pricing

from $0.08 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Play Reviews Scraper

Scrape **every Google Play review** of any app, **with no 150 or 1,000 cap**. It pages through all of them: tens of thousands of reviews in about a minute.

- **Sort** newest first or most relevant
- **Filter by star rating** (only 1-2 stars, say) and **stop at a date** (only reviews since 2026-09-01, or the last 30 days)
- **Any country and language**: Google Play serves reviews written in the language you pick
- Each review has the stars, text, date, **helpful votes**, **the app version the reviewer used**, **the developer's reply** and a link to the review
- Apps by **package name** (`com.spotify.music`) or Play URL
- **$0.10 per 1,000 reviews**, no start fee, and errors are free

A missing app, a typo or a region-locked app **never crashes the run**. You get a free row that says what went wrong, and the other apps carry on.

Need app details, installs, data safety, search or top charts too? Use the full [Google Play Scraper](https://apify.com/wulfcare/google-play-scraper).

### What people use it for

- **Review monitoring**: run it daily with *Only reviews since: 1 day* and send new 1-2 star reviews to Slack, email or a spreadsheet
- **Sentiment analysis and LLM datasets**: pull hundreds of thousands of reviews of your app and your competitors' apps into an LLM, a vector store or a BI tool
- **Release QA**: the app version on each review shows which release caused a spike in complaints
- **Complaint mining**: 1-star only, filtered on Google Play's side, so you get just the complaints and pay only for those
- **Competitor research and ASO**: what users love and hate about every app in your category, in every language

### How to use it

1. Add apps: package names like `com.spotify.music`, or Google Play URLs.
2. Set the **country** and **language** if you need something other than US English.
3. Set **Max reviews per app** (0 = all of them), and optionally a sort, star filter or date.
4. Run it, then download JSON, CSV or Excel, or call the API.

Every column is present on every row (`null` when Play has no value), and the columns don't change between runs.

### What you get: one row per review

```json
{
  "appId": "com.spotify.music",
  "appTitle": "Spotify: Music and Podcasts",
  "reviewId": "4c1d6f0e-7a1b-4f3e-9a52-2b8f7d0c9e11",
  "reviewUrl": "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music&reviewId=4c1d6f0e-7a1b-4f3e-9a52-2b8f7d0c9e11&hl=en&gl=us",
  "score": 2,
  "text": "Music stops whenever I switch to another app since the last update.",
  "date": "2026-09-28T14:03:11Z",
  "thumbsUp": 55,
  "appVersion": "9.1.36.1948",
  "replyText": "Hi. Sorry to hear that! Have you tried a quick reinstall? ...",
  "replyDate": "2026-09-28T19:17:33Z",
  "country": "US",
  "language": "en",
  "error": null
}
```

Reviewer **display names** are optional (off by default). Reviewer IDs and profile pictures are never collected.

### Pricing

**$0.10 per 1,000 reviews.** There's no start fee and no monthly rental, and **you're never charged for errors**: not-found apps, invalid inputs and failed requests are free rows.

Set **Max cost per run** in the run options to cap your spend. The run stops cleanly when it gets there, and you keep everything scraped so far.

### Examples

**Every 1- and 2-star review from the last 30 days**

```json
{ "appIds": ["com.yourcompany.app"], "maxReviewsPerApp": 0, "reviewStars": ["1", "2"], "reviewsSince": "30 days" }
```

**German reviews from Germany**

```json
{ "appIds": ["com.spotify.music"], "country": "de", "language": "de", "maxReviewsPerApp": 1000 }
```

**Every review of several apps** (for a dataset or an LLM)

```json
{ "appIds": ["com.spotify.music", "com.netflix.mediaclient", "com.duolingo"], "maxReviewsPerApp": 0 }
```

### Good to know

- **Reviews follow the language you pick.** Google Play serves reviews written in that language (English by default). For German reviews, set `language: de`. Run once per language to cover them all.
- **Newest-first reviews can lag by about a day.** Google Play takes time to publish reviews, so the newest one can be a few hours to a day old.
- **Region-locked apps** show up as "App not found in country XX". Run again with the country where the app is sold.
- **Everything comes from the public Play Store website**, as a logged-out visitor sees it. No Google account is used.
- **Data accuracy:** results are what the source showed at run time, collected from public pages, and can contain errors or change later. Check anything important before you rely on it.

# Actor input Schema

## `appIds` (type: `array`):

Package names (com.spotify.music) or Google Play URLs (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music). Every review of each app is fetched, up to the limit below.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code (us, gb, de, in, ng, br, ...). Prices, availability, charts and search results follow this country.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Language code (en, de, es, pt-BR, ...). Google Play returns reviews written in this language, and app texts in it when the developer provides a translation.

## `maxReviewsPerApp` (type: `integer`):

0 = every review Google Play has (it pages through them all). With a star filter the limit applies to each star rating separately.

## `reviewsSort` (type: `string`):

Newest first is best for monitoring and date cutoffs.

## `reviewStars` (type: `array`):

Leave empty for all ratings. Filtering happens on Google Play's side, so asking for 1-star reviews doesn't cost you the others.

## `reviewsSince` (type: `string`):

Stop at reviews older than this date, e.g. 2026-09-01 or "30 days". Fastest with "Newest first".

## `includeReviewerNames` (type: `boolean`):

Off by default. Reviewer ids and profile pictures are never collected.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify datacenter proxy works well for Google Play. A failed request is retried on a new IP.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many apps or searches are fetched at the same time.
