## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AutoScout24 Scraper: European used car listings, fast and cheap

Scrape used and new car listings from **AutoScout24**, Europe's largest online car marketplace, in Germany (autoscout24.de), Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. You get clean JSON with make, model, price, mileage, first registration, fuel, gearbox, location and photos. Use it as an unofficial AutoScout24 API for European used car prices and dealer stock. Export to JSON, CSV or Excel, or call it from your own code.

- **Cheap:** $0.25 per 1,000 results, plus $0.0005 per run.
- **Fast:** up to 100 listings per request, with no browser. 150 listings take about 2 seconds.
- **Filtered at the source:** make, year, mileage, price, country and condition are filtered by AutoScout24 itself, so you only pay for listings you asked for.
- **No personal data:** seller phone numbers, street addresses and contact names are never collected.

### What can you use it for?

- **Price comparison across countries:** see what the same model costs in Germany, the Netherlands or Italy.
- **Car import and trading:** find cars below market price to buy and export.
- **Dealer and stock monitoring:** track new listings for a make every day.
- **Market data:** feed listings into a spreadsheet, dashboard or valuation model.

### How to scrape AutoScout24

1. Enter a `make` and pick one or more `countries`.
2. Add filters such as year, mileage and maximum price, and set `maxResults`.
3. Click **Start**. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

### Input

```json
{
  "make": "bmw",
  "countries": ["DE", "AT", "NL"],
  "condition": "used",
  "yearFrom": 2016,
  "yearTo": 2020,
  "mileageTo": 150000,
  "priceTo": 40000,
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `make` | One make, as a name or URL slug (`BMW`, `land-rover`, `mercedes-benz`). Leave empty for all makes. |
| `countries` | Any of `DE`, `AT`, `BE`, `ES`, `FR`, `IT`, `LU`, `NL`. Default `DE`. |
| `condition` | `used`, `new` or `all` (default). |
| `yearFrom` / `yearTo` | First registration year. |
| `mileageTo` | Maximum mileage in km. |
| `priceTo` | Maximum price in EUR. |
| `maxResults` | How many listings to return. AutoScout24 shows at most 4,000 per search; narrow the filters to go deeper. |
| `maxImages` | Image URLs per listing (default 10). Images are links, not downloads. |
| `useCache` / `cacheTtlMinutes` | Repeating the same search within 30 minutes returns the stored results instantly, without contacting the site. Set `useCache: false` for always-live data. |

Newest listings come first.

### Output

```json
{
  "listingId": "8e51896a-962d-4fab-8eb2-88e776028c16",
  "title": "BMW 1er 5-Türer 118i",
  "url": "https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote/bmw-1er-i-led-navi-5-tuerer-…-8e51896a-962d-4fab-8eb2-88e776028c16",
  "make": "BMW",
  "model": "118",
  "modelGroup": "1er",
  "variant": "5-Türer",
  "version": "i *LED*NAVI*5-TÜRER*SHZ*TEMPOMAT*",
  "condition": "Used",
  "mileageKm": 94728,
  "firstRegistration": "2020-08",
  "fuelType": "Benzin",
  "transmission": "Automatik",
  "price": 15990,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "country": "DE",
  "city": "Bergkirchen",
  "sellerType": "Dealer",
  "images": ["https://prod.pictures.autoscout24.net/listing-images/…/720x540.webp"],
  "imageCount": 17,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-31T12:36:34.032Z"
}
```

`condition` is one of Used, New, Year-old, Demonstration, Pre-registered or Classic. Some sellers post no photos, so `images` can be empty.

### Pricing

Pay per event: **$0.0005 per run + $0.00025 per result**.

| Results | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.03 |
| 1,000 | $0.25 |
| 10,000 | $2.50 |

The actor respects your run's maximum charge. It stops fetching once that limit is reached, so you are never billed past it.

### Tips

- One make per run. For several makes, run once per make or use tasks.
- For a daily feed of new listings, schedule it with `maxResults` set a little above your daily volume. Results are sorted newest first.
- If AutoScout24 ever starts blocking datacenter IPs, the actor switches to residential proxies on its own (`fallbackProxyConfiguration`).

### Use it from your code

Call the scraper through the Apify API, here with the Python client (`pip install apify-client`):

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("xerneas_ftw/autoscout24-cars").call(run_input={
    "make": "volkswagen",
    "countries": ["DE", "NL"],
    "condition": "used",
    "maxResults": 500,
})
for car in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(car["title"], car["price"], car["country"])
```

It also works with JavaScript, plain HTTP, Make, Zapier, n8n and Google Sheets through Apify integrations.

### FAQ

**Is there an official AutoScout24 API?** Not a public one for searching listings. This actor gives you search results as structured JSON.

**Do I need an AutoScout24 account or proxies?** No. Everything is handled for you.

**Why do I get at most 4,000 listings per search?** That's AutoScout24's own limit. Split the search by country, year or price to get more.

**Does it collect seller contact details?** No. It collects only listing data, not personal data.

### Legal

This actor collects only publicly available listing data and no personal data. You are responsible for using the data in line with AutoScout24's terms and applicable law, including GDPR.
