## Pricing

from $0.00015 / trends

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## X Trends Scraper | $0.15/1K Trends | Pay-Per-Result

Scrape current Twitter trends across many locations in one run. Export rank,
topic, query, Tweet volume, search URL, WOEID, and source location. No X API key
or login required.

### Locations and trend data

- Run multiple countries or WOEIDs concurrently.
- Return up to 50 current trends per location.
- Preserve location attribution on every row.
- Label hashtag rows and whether Tweet volume is available.
- Deduplicate equivalent inputs before billing.
- Export JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, and RSS through Apify datasets.
- Resume from saved state after an Apify migration.

### Input

Use location names, numeric WOEIDs, or both:

```json
{
  "locations": ["Worldwide", "United States", "Turkey"],
  "maxTrendsPerLocation": 50,
  "maxItems": 150
}
```

Supported shortcuts include Worldwide, United States, United Kingdom, Turkey,
Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, and Australia.
Use `woeids` for any other supported location.

### Output

Each trend is one dataset row with `name`, `rank`, `tweetVolume`, `query`,
`url`, `woeid`, `sourceTarget`, and `resultType`. Missing source fields stay
absent rather than being invented.

### Pricing

Every Apify plan costs **$0.15 per 1,000 delivered rows**. Apify bills your
platform usage separately.

- One charge per delivered dataset row, including at most 1 zero-output
  diagnostic.
- No start, query, or location fee.
- Duplicates are removed before billing.
- Apify maximum-total-charge settings cap delivered rows.

Use `latest` unless you need an older build. Choose from 50 public tasks or 128
Xquik REST operations. Examples use sample values. Results reflect live data.

### Recovery and limits

Independent locations run concurrently. Cursor state, accepted rows, billing
state, and output fingerprints survive Apify migration. The Actor has no
self-imposed run timeout. A caller-supplied Apify timeout remains respected.

Xquik is an independent third-party service. Not affiliated with X Corp.

Country names or codes. Supports Worldwide, United States, United Kingdom, Turkey, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, and Australia.

## `woeids` (type: `array`):

Numeric Yahoo Where On Earth IDs. Use this for any supported X trend location.

## `maxTrendsPerLocation` (type: `integer`):

Maximum trends requested for each location.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Global result cap across all locations.

## `dedupeAcrossTargets` (type: `boolean`):

Remove the same trend returned for multiple equivalent inputs before billing.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel independent location reads. Leave the default for maximum safe throughput.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "locations": [
    "Worldwide",
    "United States"
  ],
  "woeids": [
    "1",
  "dedupeAcrossTargets": true,
  "maxConcurrency": 100
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Unique delivered rows. Filters and deduplication run before billing.

## `runReport` (type: `string`):

Outcome, completion reason, counts, pages, duration, and privacy-safe anomalies.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "locations": [
        "Worldwide",
        "United States"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("xquik/x-trends-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
