## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 tender results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Public Tender Monitor

Public Tender Monitor filters official UK Find a Tender OCDS releases and emits stable procurement-notice records for opportunity monitoring. It is designed for repeatable public-sector tender tracking using structured official data rather than scraping visual listings.

### What it does

The Actor reads supported UK Find a Tender OCDS data, applies the configured filters, normalizes matching procurement notices, and writes structured records to the default Apify dataset. This makes the output suitable for scheduled opportunity monitoring, internal research, or downstream alerting workflows.

Typical use cases include:

- monitoring newly published public procurement opportunities;
- tracking tenders relevant to a market or service category;
- collecting structured tender data for internal analysis;
- feeding matching notices into alerts or CRM workflows;
- running scheduled procurement checks through Apify.

### Quick start

1. Configure the supported Find a Tender source/input options in Apify Console.
2. Add the filters relevant to the opportunities you want to monitor.
3. Keep limits conservative for the first run.
4. Run the Actor and inspect the default dataset.
5. Confirm that the returned notices and procurement fields match your intended criteria.
6. Once verified, schedule recurring runs or call the Actor through the Apify API.

The Input tab also exposes shared request, retry, timeout, concurrency, and proxy controls where applicable.

### Output

Each dataset item represents a normalized procurement notice derived from the supported OCDS release data, together with source and scrape metadata. The Actor dataset schema is the source of truth for the exact fields and types. Results can be exported as JSON, CSV, or Excel or consumed through the Apify dataset API.

### Scheduling and integrations

For opportunity monitoring, use an Apify schedule at an interval that matches your procurement workflow. Connect matching records to webhooks, Make, Zapier, a database, a notification service, CRM tooling, or another Actor.

### Limitations

This Actor is scoped to the supported UK Find a Tender OCDS source and depends on the completeness and availability of that official upstream data. It does not determine whether a tender is commercially suitable for you and should not replace review of the original procurement notice or legal/procurement requirements.

### Pricing

See the Actor's Apify Store **Pricing** tab for the active pricing model and current rates. Platform usage depends on the amount of source data processed, filtering scope, and run frequency. Test representative inputs before configuring large or frequent scheduled runs.
