## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper - Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby

Get **every open job from any company that hires through Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby** in one clean table: title, location, remote flag, salary range, department, posted date, apply link and the full description. Just type company names; the Actor finds the right job board for you. No login, no cookies, no proxy.

### What you get

| company | title | location | remote | salaryText | postedAt | ats | url |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ramp | Channel Partner Manager, Accounting | New York, NY (HQ) | true | $140K - $214K | 2026-10-09 | ashby | https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/440606b5-... |
| Stripe | Account Executive - Nordics (Hunter) | Sweden (Remote) | true | | 2026-10-21 | greenhouse | https://stripe.com/jobs/search?gh_jid=8284974 |
| Stripe | Abuse Investigator | Dublin | false | | 2026-09-03 | greenhouse | https://stripe.com/jobs/search?gh_jid=8172487 |

Every job also has `jobId`, `department`, `team`, `allLocations`, `workplaceType`, `employmentType`, `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryInterval`, `updatedAt`, `applyUrl`, `description` and `scrapedAt`.

### Use cases

- **Job aggregators and boards:** keep a feed of fresh roles from hundreds of companies, deduplicated, in one format.
- **Recruiting and sales leads:** see who is hiring for what, and how fast, to time outreach.
- **Salary research:** collect posted pay ranges by title, team and location.
- **Job seekers:** watch your target companies daily and get only new remote roles with "Posted within 1 day".

### Why this one

- **Type a name, not a URL.** `stripe`, `ramp`, `notion` work as-is. The Actor checks Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever and picks the company's real (largest) board, so stale old boards don't fool it.
- **One schema for three ATSs.** Same fields whatever system the company uses.
- **Salary included.** Taken from the ATS's pay fields when present, otherwise found in the job description.
- **Filters before you pay.** Title keywords, locations, remote-only and posted-within-days are applied before saving, so you're charged only for jobs you want.
- **Fast.** 1,200 jobs from 4 companies in about 40 seconds.

### How much does it cost?

You pay **$1.00 per 1,000 jobs**, nothing else. Set *Maximum results* to cap your spend; the run stops when it reaches your limit. Companies with no board, and jobs removed by your filters, are free.

### How to use it

1. Add company names or careers-page URLs to **Companies**.
2. Optionally add **Job title keywords**, **Locations**, **Remote jobs only** or **Posted within (days)**.
3. Set **Maximum results**, click **Start**, and download as JSON, CSV or Excel, or pull results by API.

Schedule it daily with *Posted within (days)* = 1 to get only new jobs.

### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe", "ramp", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir", "ashby:notion"],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["Remote", "United States"],
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

Accepted company formats: a slug (`stripe`), `ats:slug` (`greenhouse:airbnb`, `lever:palantir`, `ashby:ramp`), or a board URL from `boards.greenhouse.io`, `job-boards.greenhouse.io`, `jobs.lever.co`, `jobs.eu.lever.co` or `jobs.ashbyhq.com`.

### FAQ

**How do I find a company's slug?** Open their careers page and click a job. The slug is the part after the job-board domain, e.g. `jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp` → `ramp`. Or paste the URL itself.

**A company returned nothing.** It may use a different ATS (Workday, SmartRecruiters, its own site). Those are listed under `NOT_FOUND` in the run's key-value store, and you aren't charged for them.

**Is this legal?** The Actor reads the public job-board feeds that each company publishes for its own careers page. Job posts contain no personal data beyond what the company chose to publish.

**Something broke.** Open an issue on the Issues tab; fixes usually ship within 24 hours.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Company slugs ("stripe"), careers-page URLs ("https://jobs.lever.co/palantir", "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp") or "ats:slug" ("greenhouse:airbnb"). A bare slug is checked on Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever automatically.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all jobs.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these (e.g. "London", "Remote", "Germany").

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted in the last N days. Leave empty for all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the plain-text job description. Turn off for smaller exports.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs. You are charged per job, so this caps your cost.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Not needed normally; the job-board APIs are public.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "stripe",
    "ramp",
    "https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb"
  ],
  "remoteOnly": false,
  "includeDescription": true,
  "maxItems": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `jobs` (type: `string`):

Every job saved in this run, one row per job.
