## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does ATS Jobs Feed do?

**ATS Jobs Feed** pulls every open job from company career pages hosted on **[Workday](https://www.workday.com), [Greenhouse](https://www.greenhouse.com), [Lever](https://www.lever.co), [Ashby](https://www.ashbyhq.com), [SmartRecruiters](https://www.smartrecruiters.com) and [Recruitee](https://recruitee.com)** and returns them in **one clean, identical schema**. It reads the official public job-board APIs these platforms provide, so it is fast, cheap and does not break when a careers page is redesigned.

Give it a list of companies. Get back titles, departments, locations, remote status, **salary ranges**, posting dates and apply links. Turn on **monitor mode** and each scheduled run returns **only the jobs that are new since the last run**.

### Why use ATS Jobs Feed?

- 🧭 **Job boards and aggregators.** Fill a niche job board with fresh roles straight from employers.
- 📈 **Sales prospecting.** Hiring is a buying signal. Track which target accounts are hiring for the roles you sell into.
- 🧑‍💼 **Recruiting and talent intelligence.** Watch competitors' hiring, team growth and pay ranges.
- 🔎 **Job seekers.** Get a daily list of new roles at the 50 companies you care about.
- 🤖 **AI agents.** A simple, predictable tool your agent can call through the Apify API or MCP.

What you get that most job scrapers don't:

- **Six ATS platforms, one schema.** Workday (most large employers), Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Recruitee. No per-platform cleanup.
- **Salary ranges** from Greenhouse pay transparency, Lever, Ashby and Recruitee fields, and from the job description when that's the only place they appear.
- **Monitor mode** for daily alerts without duplicates.
- **No run fee.** You pay per job saved, nothing else.

### What data can ATS Jobs Feed extract?

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `company`, `title` | Company name and job title |
| `department`, `team` | Where the role sits |
| `location`, `locations`, `country` | Primary and all listed locations |
| `remote`, `workplaceType` | Remote, hybrid or on-site |
| `employmentType` | Full-time, contract, and so on |
| `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency`, `salaryPeriod` | Pay range, when published |
| `postedAt`, `updatedAt` | Dates in ISO 8601 (`postedAtApproximate` is true when Workday only gave "Posted 3 Days Ago") |
| `url`, `applyUrl` | Job page and application link |
| `description` | Optional plain-text job description |
| `jobId`, `source` | Stable ID and the ATS it came from |

### How to scrape jobs from Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby

1. Open the Actor and go to the **Input** tab.
2. In **Companies**, add one company per line. Paste the careers URL (for example `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`), a prefixed slug (`greenhouse:stripe`) or just a slug (`stripe`) and the Actor will find the board.
3. Optionally add filters: title keywords, locations, remote only, salary only, posted within N days.
4. Click **Start**. Download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them through the API.
5. For alerts, turn on **Only new jobs since last run** and add a daily **Schedule**.

#### How do I find a company's ATS?

Open the company's careers page and click a job. The address usually shows it: `<company>.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/...` (Workday), `boards.greenhouse.io/...`, `job-boards.greenhouse.io/...`, `jobs.lever.co/...`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/...`, `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/...` or `<company>.recruitee.com`. Paste that link.

### How much does it cost to scrape company job boards?

This Actor uses **pay-per-event** pricing: **$0.80 per 1,000 jobs saved**. There is no start fee, no per-company fee, and companies that aren't found cost nothing. A daily monitor of 100 companies that returns about 300 new jobs a month costs roughly **$0.24 a month**. Apify's free plan includes monthly credits you can use to try it.

### Input

See the **Input** tab for every option. The only required field is **Companies**. Bare slugs are checked against Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby in that order; use a full URL or a prefix for SmartRecruiters, Recruitee or Lever EU (`lever-eu:company`), and the full careers URL for Workday.

#### Workday tips

Workday sites can list thousands of jobs. Keep **Maximum jobs per run** sensible, and turn on **Include full job description** only when you need exact dates, countries or the text, because each job then needs one extra request.

### Output

You can download the dataset in various formats such as JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel.

```json
[
  {
    "jobId": "greenhouse:examplecorp:1234567",
    "source": "greenhouse",
    "company": "Example Corp",
    "title": "Senior Software Engineer",
    "department": "Engineering",
    "location": "San Francisco, CA",
    "locations": ["San Francisco, CA", "Remote (US)"],
    "remote": false,
    "workplaceType": "hybrid",
    "salaryMin": 150000,
    "salaryMax": 190000,
    "salaryCurrency": "USD",
    "salaryPeriod": "year",
    "postedAt": "2026-01-15T12:00:00.000Z",
    "url": "https://boards.greenhouse.io/examplecorp/jobs/1234567"
  }
]
```

Each run also saves a `RUN_SUMMARY` record with jobs found, matched and saved per company, and any company that was not found.

### Tips

- **Keep costs predictable** with **Maximum jobs per run**.
- **Use one monitor name per watch list** so separate schedules don't share memory.
- **Descriptions are optional.** Salary is parsed either way, so leave descriptions off unless you need the text.

### FAQ, disclaimers and support

**Is it legal to scrape these job boards?** This Actor only reads job postings that companies publish through the official, public job-board APIs of each platform, which exist so that jobs can be shared and syndicated. It does not log in or bypass any protection.

> Our Actors are ethical and do not extract any private user data, such as email addresses, gender, or location. They only extract what the user has chosen to share publicly. We therefore believe that our Actors, when used for ethical purposes by Apify users, are safe. However, you should be aware that your results could contain personal data. Personal data is protected by the GDPR in the European Union and by other regulations around the world. You should not scrape personal data unless you have a legitimate reason to do so. If you're unsure whether your reason is legitimate, consult your lawyers.

**A company returns nothing.** Check `RUN_SUMMARY`. The board may use another ATS, or a different slug than the company name. Paste the full careers URL instead.

**Need another ATS, such as Workable or iCIMS?** Open an issue in the **Issues** tab. Requests with real demand get built first.

For programmatic access, see the **API** tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One company per line. Use a careers URL (https://boards.greenhouse.io/figma, https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite, https://careers.smartrecruiters.com/Visa, https://bunq.recruitee.com), a prefixed slug (greenhouse:stripe, lever:palantir, lever-eu:company, ashby:ramp, smartrecruiters:Visa, recruitee:bunq), or a bare slug (stripe) to auto-detect Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby. Workday needs the full careers URL.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains at least one of these words (case-insensitive). Leave empty to keep all.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, for example "intern" or "senior".

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location or country contains one of these, for example "New York", "London", "US" or "Remote".

## `departmentKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs in matching departments or teams, for example "Engineering" or "Sales".

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs the ATS marks as remote (or whose location says remote).

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs that publish a pay range (from the ATS field or the job description).

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep jobs first published in the last N days. 0 keeps all.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the plain-text job description to each row. Salary is parsed from the description either way. For SmartRecruiters and Workday this needs one extra request per job; on Workday it also adds the exact posting date, country and all locations.

## `maxJobs` (type: `integer`):

Stop after saving this many jobs. Keeps costs predictable.

## `onlyNewSinceLastRun` (type: `boolean`):

Remember the jobs already returned and output only new ones on later runs. Ideal with a daily schedule. The first run returns everything that matches.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Use a different name for each separate watch list so their memories don't mix.
