## Pricing

from $8.00 / 1,000 tool calls

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## European Public Data MCP Server: Fuel, Tenders, Companies

**Give your AI agent live, official European data in one connection.**

This **MCP server** lets Claude, Cursor and any other MCP client answer questions with **official government data** from across Europe: the cheapest fuel nearby, fuel prices by country, public tenders, company checks and new companies or insolvencies. Five tools, one URL, no API keys to collect and no scraping on your side. Every answer contains **no personal data**.

### 💬 Ask your agent things like

- "Where is the cheapest diesel within 5 km of Madrid's Atocha station?"
- "Is diesel cheaper in Elvas or across the border in Badajoz right now?"
- "How much is petrol in Portugal, Spain and the UK this week, in euros?"
- "Find IT tenders published in Portugal and Spain in the last 7 days."
- "Is the Finnish company Kone Oyj active, and what is its VAT number?"
- "Check that Bolt Technology in Estonia and Kerry Group in Ireland are active."
- "Which companies went into insolvency in Paris in the last 3 days?"

### 🧰 Tools

| Tool | What it answers | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| `cheapest_fuel_near` | "Where is the cheapest diesel within 10 km of here?" | Government station prices of 🇵🇹 Portugal (mainland), 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇫🇷 France, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇭🇷 Croatia, 🇸🇮 Slovenia |
| `fuel_price_averages` | "How much is petrol in Portugal vs Spain vs the UK, in euros?" | European Commission Weekly Oil Bulletin (EU-27), UK and Norway statistics, ECB exchange rates |
| `search_public_tenders` | "Which IT tenders opened in Portugal and Spain this week?" | TED (all EU countries) and Portal BASE (every Portuguese announcement) |
| `verify_company` | "Is this supplier real and active? What is its VAT number?" | 🇫🇷 SIRENE/RNE, 🇳🇴 Brønnøysund, 🇫🇮 YTJ, 🇨🇿 ARES, 🇵🇱 KRS, 🇸🇰 RPO, 🇪🇪 e-Business Register, 🇱🇻 Register of Enterprises, 🇮🇪 CRO |
| `company_events` | "Which companies were founded in Madrid this week?" or "Which went insolvent in Paris?" | 🇪🇸 BORME and 🇫🇷 BODACC official gazettes |

### ✨ Why use it

- ✅ **Official sources only,** so your agent cites ministries, regulators and registries instead of guessing.
- ⚡ **Always on:** the server runs in Standby mode and answers in seconds once warm.
- 🔒 **No personal data:** sole traders and names of people are filtered out.
- 💸 **Pay per answer:** $0.01 per tool call that returns an answer.

### 🔌 Connect your MCP client

The server runs in **Standby mode** and is always ready at this URL:

```
https://yodeling-november--public-data-mcp.apify.actor/mcp
```

Authenticate with your Apify API token (Apify Console → Settings → API & Integrations).

**Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf** and other clients that accept a remote server with headers:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "european-public-data": {
      "url": "https://yodeling-november--public-data-mcp.apify.actor/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" }
    }
  }
}
```

**Claude Code:**

```
claude mcp add --transport http european-public-data https://yodeling-november--public-data-mcp.apify.actor/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN"
```

The transport is Streamable HTTP. A normal (non-Standby) run of this Actor only checks that every tool works and lists the tools in its dataset.

### 📖 Tools in detail

**`cheapest_fuel_near(latitude, longitude, fuel_type="diesel", radius_km=10, limit=10)`**
Stations sorted by price, with name, brand, address, price per litre (CNG per kg), distance and time of the last price update. Fuel types: `diesel`, `gasoline_95`, `gasoline_98`, `lpg`, `diesel_premium`, `gasoline_95_e10`, `cng`. Obvious data-entry errors are removed. Portugal covers the mainland only.

**`fuel_price_averages(countries=[], fuel_types=["diesel","gasoline_95"])`**
The latest national average for the 27 EU countries, the EU and euro-area averages, the UK and Norway. Each figure has the local currency, the price in euros (`priceEur`), the price without taxes where published, and the price date. The averages are weekly, except Norway, which is monthly.

**`search_public_tenders(countries, keywords=[], cpv_prefixes=[], days=7, open_only=True, limit=20)`**
Calls for tender, newest first, with title, buyer, CPV codes, estimated value, deadline and links. TED covers every EU country above the EU thresholds. For Portugal, Portal BASE adds every announcement, including small ones (the files are refreshed about once a week).

**`verify_company(query, countries=["FR","NO","FI","CZ","PL","SK","EE","LV","IE"], max_matches=3)`**
Search by name, registration number or VAT number. A country prefix narrows the search, for example `FR: Airbus` or `CZ: 00177041`. Each result has the legal name, status (active, inactive or in insolvency), legal form, address, activity code, incorporation date, VAT number (where the registry publishes it) and a match score. Names unrelated to the query are left out. Poland can be searched by KRS number only.

**`company_events(country, event_types=["creation"], region=None, keywords=[], days=3, limit=20)`**
Event types: `creation`, `dissolution`, `deregistration`, `insolvency`, `sale`, `address_change`, `capital_change`, `name_change`, `activity_change`, `restructuring`, `modification`. The region is a Spanish province (for example `Madrid`) or a French département name or number (for example `75`).

### 💰 How much does it cost?

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Tool call that returns an answer | $0.01 |
| Server start, once per session (1 GB) | $0.005 |

A call with invalid arguments, one outside coverage, or one where every source is unavailable is not charged. The server stays up while you use it and stops after 2 minutes without requests; the next request starts it again in a few seconds. Higher Apify plans get volume discounts.

### 🔒 Personal data

- **Fuel stations and tenders** contain no personal data.
- **Company tools:** sole traders are excluded in every registry (France, Norway, Finland, Czechia, Slovakia, Estonia and Latvia; Ireland's register holds companies only), and directors' names are never returned. In Spain, BORME acts are reduced to the company, the type of event and its key facts.
- **France:** BODACC announcements about natural persons are left out.
