## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby Jobs: Salaries + New-Job Alerts

Track open jobs at any company that hires through **Greenhouse**, **Lever** or **Ashby**, using only their **official public job board APIs**. You get clean, normalized job rows with **structured salary data** (min / max / currency / period), plus **new-job and closed-job detection** between runs, and an optional **one-row hiring summary per company**.

Paste a list of companies. Use whatever form you have: a careers page URL, `ats:slug`, or just a name such as `ramp`. The Actor works out which ATS each one uses.

### What you can use it for

- **Job alerts.** Schedule it daily with `onlyNewJobs: true` and get only the roles that appeared since the last run.
- **Sales and recruiting signals.** See which companies are hiring, in which departments, and how fast (`postedLast7Days`, `newSinceLastRun`, `closedSinceLastRun`).
- **Salary benchmarking.** Many US/CA/UK postings publish a pay range. It is parsed into numbers you can sort and filter.
- **Job boards and newsletters.** Get a normalized feed across three ATSs in one schema.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `companies` | list of strings | **Required.** Each item can be `greenhouse:airbnb`, `lever:palantir`, `ashby:notion`, a board URL (`https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe`, `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`), or a bare slug (`ramp`) to auto-detect. |
| `titleKeywords` | list | Keep only jobs whose title contains any of these words (case-insensitive). |
| `locations` | list | Keep only jobs whose location contains any of these strings. |
| `departments` | list | Keep only jobs in matching departments. |
| `remoteOnly` | boolean | Keep only remote jobs. |
| `onlyWithSalary` | boolean | Keep only jobs with a parsed salary range. |
| `postedWithinDays` | integer | Keep only jobs published in the last N days, where the ATS exposes a publish date. |
| `onlyNewJobs` | boolean | Output only jobs not seen in previous runs (state is kept in a named key-value store). |
| `includeDescription` | boolean | Include the full plain-text job description. Off by default to keep output small. |
| `includeCompanySummary` | boolean | Add one `companySummary` row per company. On by default. |
| `maxJobsPerCompany` | integer | Cap output rows per company. |
| `maxCompanies` | integer | Safety cap on the number of companies per run. Default 200. |
| `stateStoreName` | string | Name of the key-value store used for new/closed detection. Use different names for independent watchlists. |

Example:

```json
{
  "companies": ["greenhouse:airbnb", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir", "ramp", "notion"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "onlyWithSalary": true,
  "onlyNewJobs": true
}
```

### Output

Example job row:

```json
{
  "ats": "ashby",
  "companySlug": "notion",
  "jobId": "…",
  "title": "Product Designer",
  "department": "Design",
  "location": "San Francisco, California",
  "isRemote": false,
  "workplaceType": "Hybrid",
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "publishedAt": "2026-10-14T18:02:11.000Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/notion/…",
  "salaryMin": 285000,
  "salaryMax": 330000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$285K – $330K",
  "isNew": true,
  "firstSeenAt": "2026-10-22T14:28:12.650Z"
}
```

Example company summary row (`type: "companySummary"`):

```json
{
  "type": "companySummary",
  "ats": "lever",
  "companySlug": "palantir",
  "openJobs": 304,
  "postedLast7Days": 5,
  "newSinceLastRun": 0,
  "closedSinceLastRun": 2,
  "remoteJobs": 0,
  "jobsWithSalary": 204,
  "medianUsdAnnualSalaryMidpoint": 150000,
  "topDepartments": [{ "name": "Dev", "count": 89 }]
}
```

A `RUN_REPORT` record in the default key-value store lists any companies that could not be found.

### How new and closed detection works

The Actor remembers the job IDs it has seen for each company in a named key-value store (`ats-jobs-tracker-state` by default). On the first run everything counts as the baseline, so `isNew` is `false`. On later runs, unseen IDs are marked `isNew: true`, and IDs that disappeared are counted in `closedSinceLastRun`.

### Pricing

**Free during launch.** You only pay Apify's standard platform usage, which is typically a fraction of a cent per run for small watchlists. Pay-per-event pricing may be introduced later. Apify notifies existing users in advance of any pricing change.

### Data source and responsible use

- The Actor uses only the documented **public** job board endpoints that Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby provide so companies' postings can be shown on third-party sites: `boards-api.greenhouse.io`, `api.lever.co/v0/postings`, and `api.ashbyhq.com/posting-api`.
- It needs no login and makes no attempt to bypass any access control.
- Requests are rate-limited, with a 1 s delay between Lever pages per Lever's robots.txt, and they identify themselves with a descriptive User-Agent.
- Job postings are public business information published by employers. You are responsible for how you use the data (for example, do not use it for spam).

### Limitations

- Only companies with a **public** board on these three ATSs are supported. Workday, SmartRecruiters and others are not.
- Salary is parsed from structured fields where available (Lever `salaryRange`, Ashby compensation) and otherwise from the description text. Pay ranges that aren't published can't be extracted.
- A bare slug that exists on more than one ATS resolves to the board with the most open jobs. The others are listed in `otherBoardsFound`.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. Accepts a job board URL (boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp), an explicit `ats:slug` (greenhouse:stripe), or a bare slug (ramp) which is auto-detected across Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these (case-insensitive). Leave empty for all.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose location contains any of these, e.g. 'New York', 'Remote', 'Germany'.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose department or team contains any of these, e.g. 'Engineering', 'Sales'.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs marked remote.

## `onlyWithSalary` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs where a salary range was found.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs first published within this many days (where the ATS exposes a publish date).

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Output only jobs not seen in the previous run with the same state store. The first run records a baseline and outputs nothing new.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds plain-text job descriptions and improves salary detection for Greenhouse. Larger output.

## `includeCompanySummary` (type: `boolean`):

Adds one summary row per company: open jobs, posted last 7 days, new and closed since last run, top departments, median salary.

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit.

## `maxCompanies` (type: `integer`):

Safety cap on companies processed per run.

## `stateStoreName` (type: `string`):

Named key-value store used for new/closed job detection. Use different names for different watchlists.
