- Search research paper metadata across OpenAlex and Crossref in one run: topic search, DOI lookup (up to 500 DOIs) and author search by name or ORCID iD.
- One row per paper: results are merged by DOI, OpenAlex ID or exact title and year, and `foundIn` lists the sources.
- Citation counts and open access links from OpenAlex for papers found only in Crossref.
- Abstracts are included only when an openly available version of the paper carries a CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA or public-domain licence. New fields `abstractStatus` and `abstractLicence` show what was included and why.
- arXiv preprints and PubMed-indexed papers are found through OpenAlex.
- Quoted phrases must appear in the title or abstract.
- Monitor mode returns only papers you haven't seen before.
- Free status rows for invalid DOIs, DOIs not found, source errors and runs with nothing new.
- Optional OpenAlex API key for large or frequent runs. Short OpenAlex slowdowns are retried.
