- New mode: new USDOT registrations. Lists companies whose USDOT number FMCSA added in a date window, with the same state, fleet, MC, insurance and monitor filters as the new operating authorities list. "With an MC number only" also counts MC numbers still pending in FMCSA's authority files.
- New filter: cargo carried (30 MCS-150 cargo types, such as general freight, refrigerated food and dry bulk) for search and both new lists.
- New "New carriers" output view: one flat row per company for CSV export. New fields `mcNumber`, `cargoSummary`, `newAuthorityTypes` and `newAuthorityGrantedDate`.

- Look up US trucking companies and freight brokers by USDOT or MC number, search by company name, or list new operating authorities by date window, state and authority type.
- One row per company: census details, every operating authority, and insurance and bond filings as recorded by FMCSA.
- Authority and insurance from FMCSA's daily files, with FMCSA's 14 May 2026 snapshot used only where the daily files have no record yet. `authoritySource` and `authorityAsOf` on every row.
- Insurance status filter, including `active`: at least one BIPD liability filing (insurance on a BMC-91 or BMC-91X, or a BMC-82 surety bond) that is not cancelled and is already effective. Carriers FMCSA has approved to self-insure (a BMC-91X filing with the insurer Self-Insured) count as active. New `bipdInEffect` field.
- Cancellation notices (BMC-35 and BMC-36) are never counted as cover. They show as `cancelled`, or `cancellation_pending` when dated ahead, with `inEffect` false.
- Each insurance filing shows `filingStatus` and `inEffect`.
- Monitor mode for carrier lists and saved searches.
- Free status rows for invalid numbers, numbers not found and notes. A run that returns no carrier rows costs only the Actor start fee.
