## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Fever Events Scraper: prices, dates, venues and ratings

Scrape **Fever** (feverup.com) events and experiences by **city** and **category**. That covers Candlelight concerts, exhibitions, immersive experiences, food and drink, nightlife, theatre, family days out and more. Each event comes with its **price and currency, the discount and original price, the rating, first and last dates, the venue with its address and map coordinates, the next session with tickets left, the full description, duration, minimum age and the organizer's FAQ**. It needs no login, cookies or Fever account.

### What you get

| | |
|---|---|
| **Event** | Name, URL, cover image, gallery, promo video, labels such as "Fever exclusive" |
| **Price** | Lowest "from" price with the booking fee included, the city's currency, the original price, discount %, free events |
| **Dates** | First and last session, the next session with its ticket type, price and tickets left, open-dated tickets, "selling fast" |
| **Rating** | Average rating and number of ratings, when Fever shows them |
| **Venue** | Venue name, address, latitude/longitude, every venue of multi-venue events, secret locations flagged |
| **Details** | Full description, category, category tags, duration, minimum age, the organizer's FAQ, languages |

The venue address, coordinates, description, next session, duration, age and FAQ come from each event's page. Leave **Include event details** on to get them, which is the default. Turn it off for a faster, cheaper listing with the name, price, discount, rating, dates, venue name and image.

### How to use it

1. Enter one or more **cities**, such as `London`, `New York`, `Madrid`, `Paris` or `Los Angeles`.
2. Optionally enter **categories** as they appear in Fever's addresses, such as `candlelight`, `food`, `music-events`, `family`, `exhibitions` or `nightlife-clubs`. If you leave this empty, you get all experiences in the city.
3. Set **Max events** and **Sort by**, then run.

Each category is searched in each city. **Max events** is the total for the run, shared fairly between your searches. If one search finds fewer events, the others get its share.

#### Input examples

The first 50 London experiences, with full details:

```json
{
  "cities": ["London"],
  "maxItems": 50
}
```

Every Candlelight concert in New York and Los Angeles, soonest first:

```json
{
  "cities": ["New York", "Los Angeles"],
  "categories": ["candlelight"],
  "sortBy": "date",
  "maxItems": 0
}
```

A fast listing of all Madrid experiences, without the event pages:

```json
{
  "cities": ["Madrid"],
  "includeDetails": false,
  "maxItems": 0
}
```

You can also paste Fever URLs into **Fever URLs**: event pages such as `https://feverup.com/m/746150`, city pages such as `https://feverup.com/en/london`, or category pages such as `https://feverup.com/en/london/candlelight`.

### Output example

```json
{
  "planId": "699984",
  "name": "Candlelight: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac",
  "url": "https://feverup.com/m/699984",
  "city": "New York",
  "cityCode": "NYC",
  "country": "US",
  "venue": "St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church",
  "address": "157 Montague Street, Brooklyn, 11201",
  "latitude": 40.6945037,
  "longitude": -73.9924631,
  "price": 34.56,
  "currency": "USD",
  "priceType": "from",
  "originalPrice": null,
  "rating": null,
  "ratingCount": null,
  "firstSessionDate": "2026-10-03T18:30:00-04:00",
  "lastSessionDate": "2027-01-22T20:45:00-05:00",
  "nextSessionStart": "2026-10-03T18:30:00-04:00",
  "nextSessionLabel": "Zone B",
  "nextSessionPrice": 46.98,
  "ticketsLeft": 30,
  "openDated": false,
  "sellingFast": false,
  "description": "⭐ Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations …",
  "faq": [{ "question": "Where can I find my ticket?", "answer": "You'll find your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, signing in with the same method you used to buy. Your QR code is also in your confirmation email." }],
  "detailsFetched": true,
  "searchCity": "New York",
  "searchCategory": "candlelight",
  "position": 2,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-01T23:22:31.664Z"
}
```

Every row has the same columns. A value that is missing, or that Fever hides (like the rating of an event with few ratings, as above), is `null`, or an empty list for list fields. Prices are in each city's own currency, so London is in GBP, New York in USD and Madrid in EUR.

### Use cases

- **Event discovery and listings**: feed a city guide, newsletter or app with what's on, where and for how much.
- **Price and availability monitoring**: track prices, discounts and tickets left for shows in your market.
- **Competitor research for venues and promoters**: see which experiences Fever sells in a city, how they're priced and how they rate.
- **Market research**: compare categories such as Candlelight, exhibitions and nightlife across cities.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Fever account, cookies or a login?** No. The scraper reads the same public pages any visitor sees on feverup.com. It never logs in.

**How do I find a category's name?** Open the category on Fever and copy the last part of its address. For `feverup.com/en/london/candlelight`, the category is `candlelight`. If a category doesn't exist in a city, the run skips it, lists the categories that do exist, and doesn't charge for it.

**Why was a city skipped?** Fever has no city at that address. Skipped cities are not charged. Write the city as Fever does in its address, such as `new-york` for `feverup.com/en/new-york`, or paste the city URL.

**How fast is it?** About 50 events a second with details turned off, since Fever lists 48 per page. With details on, each event page takes about a second, and three are read at a time.

**Does it scrape reviews?** No. You get the average rating and the number of ratings, but no review texts or reviewer names.

**Which proxy should I use?** Keep the default, Apify Proxy (datacenter), which comes with every Apify plan, including the free one. If Fever refuses datacenter IPs for a while, the run switches to residential proxies when your account has them, and carries on without them when it doesn't.

**What does a run cost?** You pay a small fee per run plus a fee per event saved. With **Include event details** on, there's an extra fee per event page read. See the Pricing tab. Events that are skipped or no longer on Fever are never charged.

**Is it legal to scrape Fever?** This Actor only collects publicly available data: event pages that anyone can see on Fever without an account, such as the event name, price, dates, venue, description and FAQ. Collecting publicly available data is generally legal, but you're responsible for how you use it. The scraper doesn't collect reviews or any other personal data. You must follow privacy laws such as GDPR, PIPEDA and CCPA, as well as Fever's terms. If you're unsure, check with a lawyer. More on this: [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)

**Does it access any private data?** No. Everything comes from pages Fever shows to any visitor without logging in. It never uses a login, never touches tickets, orders or accounts, and follows Fever's robots.txt.

# Actor input Schema

## `cities` (type: `array`):

Cities to scrape, e.g. "London", "New York", "Madrid", "Paris". Fever's city address is used (feverup.com/en/london), so write the city the way Fever does. A city Fever doesn't have is skipped and not charged.

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Optional Fever categories, as in Fever's URLs, e.g. "candlelight", "food", "music-events", "family", "exhibitions", "nightlife-clubs". Each is searched in each city. Empty = all experiences.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional: event pages (feverup.com/m/123456), city pages (feverup.com/en/london) or category pages (feverup.com/en/london/candlelight).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of events for the whole run, shared fairly between your searches. 0 = everything.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Also open every event page for the description, every venue's address and coordinates, categories, the next session with tickets left, duration, minimum age and the organizer FAQ. Turn off for a faster, cheaper listing (name, price, discount, rating, dates, venue name, image).

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the results (Fever's own sort options).

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many event pages are read at the same time (1–5). The default 3 is fast and gentle on Fever.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Apify Proxy (datacenter) is the default and comes with every Apify plan. If Fever refuses datacenter IPs for a while, the run switches to residential proxies when your account has them.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "cities": [
    "London"
  ],
  "maxItems": 20,
  "includeDetails": true,
  "sortBy": "relevance",
  "maxConcurrency": 3,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

All scraped events.

## `run` (type: `string`):

Status and statistics for this run.

## `report` (type: `string`):

RUN_REPORT: how the run ended, counts, requests and proxy use.
