## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Green-Acres Scraper: France, Spain & Italy property listings

Scrape **Green-Acres**, the international portal for homes for sale in **France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece**, by region, department, province or town. Every listing comes with the **price, living area, land area, rooms, location, photos and the estate agency**. Turn on **listing details** to add the **postcode, approximate coordinates, bedrooms, bathrooms, every feature, the energy classes (DPE / GES), the full description, all photos, the agency's address, the reference and the fees**. No login, no cookies, no Green-Acres account.

### What you get

| | |
|---|---|
| **Listing** | Title, property type and category, listing URL, exclusive mandate flag |
| **Price** | Asking price in the currency you pick (EUR by default), the euro price, price per m², recent price drop in % |
| **Size** | Living area and land area in m² (hectares and square feet converted), rooms, bedrooms |
| **Location** | Town, department / province, region, postcode, approximate latitude / longitude |
| **Photos** | Full-size photo URLs and the photo count |
| **Agency** | Estate agency or agent, network, logo, office address, Green-Acres agency page |
| **Listing details** (optional) | Bathrooms, shower rooms, every feature (pool, terrace, orientation…), DPE and GES energy classes, full description, reference, mandate number, fees |

### How to use it

1. Enter one or more **locations**: a department (`Dordogne`, `Alpes-Maritimes`), a town (`Nice`, `Sarlat-la-Canéda`), a province (`Alicante`), or a whole region (`Brittany`, `Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur`). A region is split into its departments automatically.
2. Pick the **country** of the Green-Acres site (France by default).
3. Set **Max listings** and any filters, then run.

#### Input examples

  "minPrice": 200000,
  "maxPrice": 500000,
  "minRooms": 5,

```
You can also paste Green-Acres pages into **Green-Acres URLs**: search pages in English such as `https://www.green-acres.fr/property-for-sale/dordogne`, or listing pages ending in `.htm`.
Fields marked "with listing details" in the dataset schema are filled when **Include listing details** is on (or for pasted listing URLs). Every row has the same columns; a value the listing doesn't state is `null`.
### Use cases
- **Buying in Europe**: track every house in the departments you are considering, with price per m² and energy class.
- **Market research**: compare asking prices, sizes and price drops across French departments or Spanish provinces.
- **Agency intelligence**: see which agencies and networks list the most properties in an area.
- **Price alerts**: schedule a daily run on your towns and compare the results.
- **Relocation and investment services**: feed fresh listings into your own site or newsletter.
### FAQ
**Do I need a Green-Acres account, cookies or a login?** No. The scraper reads the same public pages any visitor sees. It never logs in and needs nothing from you except a place name.
**How many listings can I get per place?** Green-Acres shows at most 20 result pages (about 470 listings) for one place. For a big department, add its towns as extra locations; the status message tells you when a place has more listings than Green-Acres shows.
**How fast is it?** Green-Acres asks crawlers for one request per second, and this scraper respects that. A results page holds 24 listings, so 1,000 listings take under a minute. **Include listing details** opens every listing page, which adds about one second per listing.
**Why are filters applied by the scraper and not by Green-Acres?** Green-Acres' own filtered searches are off-limits to crawlers (its robots.txt), so the scraper reads the normal results and keeps the listings that match your filters. Listings that are filtered out are never charged. If many pages in a row have no match, the scraper stops reading that place and says so.
**What are "nearby" listings?** For a small town, Green-Acres shows the town's own listings and then listings from around it. They are left out unless you turn on **Include nearby listings**.
**Can I filter by property type?** Green-Acres' property-type pages are showcase pages without full results, so the scraper searches all types and gives you `propertyCategory` (from the listing URL: house, apartment, land…) and `propertyType` (from the listing) to filter on.
**Which currency are prices in?** Euros by default. Pick another currency to get prices converted by Green-Acres; the euro price is still included as `priceEur` when it is known.
**Which proxy should I use?** Keep the default (Apify Proxy, datacenter). It comes with every Apify plan, including the free one. If Green-Acres refuses datacenter IPs for a while, the run switches to residential proxies when your account has them, and carries on without them when it doesn't.
**What does a run cost?** A small fee per run, a small fee per place searched, a fee per listing saved, and a separate fee per listing whose details were loaded. See the Pricing tab. Places that are not found and listings removed by your filters are never charged.
**Is it legal to scrape Green-Acres?** This Actor only collects publicly available data: property listings that anyone can see on Green-Acres without an account, such as the price, size, location, photos and the advertising agency. Collecting publicly available data is generally legal, but you're responsible for how you use it. Listings come almost entirely from estate agencies; when a listing is from a private seller, the scraper leaves out the seller's name and details, and it removes personal e-mail addresses and phone numbers from descriptions. You must follow privacy laws such as GDPR, PIPEDA and CCPA, as well as Green-Acres' terms. If you're unsure, check with a lawyer. More on this: [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)
**Does it access any private data?** No. Everything comes from pages Green-Acres shows to any visitor without logging in. It never uses a login, never touches user accounts, saved searches or messages, and follows the site's robots.txt, including its one-request-per-second limit.
# Actor input Schema
## `locations` (type: `array`):
Departments, provinces or towns (or whole regions), written as Green-Acres writes them, e.g. "Dordogne", "Alpes-Maritimes", "Nice", "Brittany", "Alicante". A region is split into its departments automatically. Each place is searched separately; one place gives at most about 470 listings (Green-Acres shows 20 pages), so for big departments list their towns too.
## `country` (type: `string`):
Which Green-Acres site to search. The places above must be in this country.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Maximum number of listings for the whole run, shared fairly between your searches (a search that finds fewer leaves its share to the others). 0 = everything.
## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):
Also open every listing page for the postcode, approximate coordinates, bedrooms, bathrooms, every feature, the energy classes (DPE / GES), the full description, all photos, the agency's address and page, the reference and the fees. Adds about 1 second per listing (Green-Acres asks for one request per second).
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Optional: Green-Acres search pages in English, e.g. https://www.green-acres.fr/property-for-sale/dordogne or https://www.green-acres.es/house/alicante, or listing pages (they end in .htm).
## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):
In the currency below. Listings without a price (price on request) are left out when a price filter is set.
## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):
In the currency below.
## `minLivingArea` (type: `integer`):
Only listings whose living area (m²) is at least this value. Leave empty for no limit.
## `maxLivingArea` (type: `integer`):
Only listings whose living area (m²) is at most this value. Leave empty for no limit.
## `minLandArea` (type: `integer`):
1 hectare = 10,000 m².
## `minRooms` (type: `integer`):
Only listings with at least this many rooms. Leave empty for no limit.
## `minBedrooms` (type: `integer`):
Only some search cards state the bedrooms; turn on "Include listing details" to check every listing.
## `includeNearby` (type: `boolean`):
For a small town, Green-Acres shows the town's own listings and then "near-to" listings from around it. Off = only the town's own listings.
## `currency` (type: `string`):
Currency for prices and price filters. The euro price is always included too (priceEur) when it is known.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Apify Proxy (datacenter) is the default and comes with every Apify plan. If Green-Acres refuses datacenter IPs for a while, the run switches to residential proxies when your account has them.
