## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Tiqets Scraper: attraction tickets, prices and ratings

Scrape **Tiqets** attraction tickets, tours and activities by **city**, **keyword**, **venue** or **URL**. Each product comes with its **price in your currency plus the price in euros**, any **discount and the original price**, the **rating with a 5-to-1-star breakdown**, **what's included**, the **meeting point with coordinates**, **opening hours**, the **cancellation and refund policy**, the **venue, city, region and country**, the supplier and all images. It needs no login, cookies or Tiqets account.

### What you get

| | |
|---|---|
| **Product** | Name, one-line summary, URL, main image and gallery, product type (entrance ticket, cruise, guided tour…), badge such as "Bestseller" |
| **Price** | Lowest "from" price in the currency you choose, the original price, the price in EUR, discount %, group pricing |
| **Availability** | In stock, bookable online, next available date, timeslot booking |
| **Rating** | Average rating, number of ratings, how many 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1-star ratings |
| **What's included** | Included and not included items, the full description, instructions, must-know info |
| **Where** | Meeting point address, postal code, latitude/longitude, stops on the route of tours and cruises, venue, city, region, country, time zone |
| **Rules** | Cancellation and rescheduling policy, refund policy, opening hours |
| **Supplier** | The company that runs the activity |

### How to use it

1. Enter one or more **cities**, written the way Tiqets writes them, such as `Paris`, `New York`, `Rome` or `Washington DC`.
2. Optionally enter **keywords** that must appear in the product name, such as `louvre`, `eiffel tower`, `cruise` or `skip the line`. If you enter keywords without a city, every city Tiqets covers is searched.
3. Pick a **currency**, set **Max products**, then run.

For a city, you first get the products in **Tiqets' own order, most popular first**, followed by every other product listed in that city. **Max products** is the total for the run, shared fairly between your searches.

#### Input examples

The most popular Paris tickets, priced in US dollars:

```json
{
  "cities": ["Paris"],
  "maxItems": 50,
  "currency": "USD"
}
```

Every Colosseum and Vatican product in Rome:

```json
{
  "cities": ["Rome"],
  "keywords": ["colosseum", "vatican"],
  "maxItems": 0
}
```

Every Louvre product in every city:

```json
{
  "keywords": ["louvre"],
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

You can also paste Tiqets **product**, **city** or **venue** URLs into **Tiqets URLs**:

```json
{
  "startUrls": [
    { "url": "https://www.tiqets.com/en/louvre-museum-tickets-l124297/" },
    { "url": "https://www.tiqets.com/en/things-to-do-in-paris-c66746/tickets-for-palais-garnier-self-guided-tour-p974598/" }
  ]
}
```

  "searchCity": "Paris",
  "position": 1,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-01T23:06:49.423Z"
}
```
Every row has the same columns. If a product doesn't state a value, it is `null`, or an empty list for list fields. Some pages group several ticket options together. For those, `isProductGroup` is `true`, `variantIds` lists the options, and the price shown is the cheapest option.
### Use cases
- **Price monitoring**: track ticket prices and discounts for attractions in your city, and compare them with your own prices or other resellers.
- **Market research**: see which attractions, tours and cruises sell in a city, how they rate, and who supplies them.
- **Travel content and apps**: build attraction guides with prices, ratings, opening hours and map coordinates.
- **Tour operators and venues**: watch competing products, their inclusions and their cancellation terms.
### FAQ
**Do I need a Tiqets account, cookies or a login?** No. The scraper reads the same public pages anyone sees on tiqets.com. It never logs in.
**Which currency do I get?** The one you choose in **Currency**, where 25 currencies are available. Every row also has `priceEur`, the price in euros. If you don't choose a currency, Tiqets would pick one from the visitor's location, so the scraper always sets it.
**How fast is it?** About 3 to 4 products a second. A product takes one page, and three pages are read at a time. The first run of the day also downloads Tiqets' product list once, which takes a few seconds.
**How does the keyword search work?** Tiqets' own search pages are off-limits to robots, so the scraper searches Tiqets' public product list (its sitemap) for products whose name contains your words. For example, `louvre` finds "Louvre Museum: Reserved Entry".
**Why was a city skipped?** Tiqets doesn't list a city by that name. Skipped cities are not charged. Write the city as Tiqets does, such as `New York` (not `NYC`) or `Washington DC`, or paste the city page URL.
**Does it scrape reviews?** No. You get the average rating, the number of ratings and the star breakdown, but no review texts or reviewer names.
**Which proxy should I use?** Keep the default, Apify Proxy (datacenter), which comes with every Apify plan, including the free one. If Tiqets refuses datacenter IPs for a while, the run switches to residential proxies when your account has them, and carries on without them when it doesn't.
**What does a run cost?** You pay a small fee per run plus a fee per product saved. See the Pricing tab. Products that are skipped, no longer listed or can't be read are never charged.
**Is it legal to scrape Tiqets?** This Actor only collects publicly available data: product pages that anyone can see on Tiqets without an account, such as the ticket name, price, rating, inclusions, location and policies. Collecting publicly available data is generally legal, but you're responsible for how you use it. The scraper doesn't collect reviews or any other personal data. You must follow privacy laws such as GDPR, PIPEDA and CCPA, as well as Tiqets' terms. If you're unsure, check with a lawyer. More on this: [Is web scraping legal?](https://blog.apify.com/is-web-scraping-legal/)
**Does it access any private data?** No. Everything comes from pages Tiqets shows to any visitor without logging in. It never uses a login, never touches bookings or accounts, and follows Tiqets' robots.txt.
# Actor input Schema
## `cities` (type: `array`):
Cities to scrape, written as Tiqets does, e.g. "Paris", "New York", "Rome", "Washington DC". Each city returns Tiqets' own order first (most popular), then every other product listed in that city. A city Tiqets doesn't have is skipped and not charged.
## `keywords` (type: `array`):
Optional words that must appear in the product name, e.g. "louvre", "eiffel tower", "cruise", "skip the line". With cities: searched in each city. Without cities: searched in every city Tiqets covers.
## `startUrls` (type: `array`):
Optional: Tiqets product pages (…-p974598/), city pages (…-c66746/) or venue pages (…-l124297/). Product pages in other languages are scraped in that language.
## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):
Maximum number of products for the whole run, shared fairly between your cities and keywords. 0 = everything.
## `currency` (type: `string`):
Currency for price and originalPrice. Rows also carry priceEur. (Without this, Tiqets would pick a currency from the proxy IP's country.)
## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):
How many product pages are read at the same time (1–5). The default 3 is fast and gentle on Tiqets.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Apify Proxy (datacenter) is the default and comes with every Apify plan. If Tiqets refuses datacenter IPs for a while, the run switches to residential proxies when your account has them.
## Actor input object example
```json
{
  "cities": [
    "Paris"
  ],
  "maxItems": 20,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "maxConcurrency": 3,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true
  }
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `results` (type: `string`):
All scraped products.
## `run` (type: `string`):
Status and statistics for this run.
## `report` (type: `string`):
RUN_REPORT: how the run ended, counts, requests and proxy use.
