## SEC 13F Whale Watcher

See exactly what any institutional investment manager is holding, straight from their latest SEC 13F-HR filing on EDGAR.

### What you get

For every manager CIK you check, this Actor pulls their most recent 13F-HR filing and returns one row per equity position:

- Issuer name, CUSIP, and share class
- Position value (converted to real USD, not the thousands SEC reports)
- Share count and whether it's shares or principal amount
- Put/call flag, investment discretion, and voting authority breakdown (sole/shared/none)
- The report's period date so you know exactly which quarter you're looking at

### Why this instead of a 13F tracker site

Most "whale watcher" sites republish 13F data behind a paywall, a delay, or a subscription. This Actor reads straight from `data.sec.gov` and `sec.gov/Archives`, so you get the same filing SEC itself publishes, exportable as JSON/CSV/Excel, and pipeable into your own research or alerts.

### Who this is for

### FAQ

**Does this need SEC login or an API key?** No. SEC EDGAR's data endpoints are public.

**What if a CIK isn't a 13F filer?** You get a row explaining that, so you can tell "not a 13F filer" apart from "not checked."

**How current is the data?** 13F-HR filings are due within 45 days of each quarter's end, so holdings are always at least one quarter old - that's an SEC disclosure rule, not a limitation of this Actor.
