## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Crypto Market Data for AI Agents

Plain, live crypto market data for AI agents and trading bots, **$0.001 a call**, refreshed every minute from 24/7
monitoring of Binance spot and futures, Hyperliquid and 31 news sources. No API keys or accounts at the source, and no
scraping delays. Each request reads the latest sealed snapshot.

### Data and prices

| `tool` | Returns | Input | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| `prices` | Price and 5-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour and 24-hour change, 24-hour volume | `tokens` (optional, up to 50) | $0.001 |
| `derivatives` | Funding rate per 8 hours, futures premium, open interest and its 1h/24h change, long/short account ratio | `tokens` (optional) | $0.001 |
| `liquidations` | Every Binance futures liquidation of the last hour: totals, per coin (190+), and the biggest single ones | `token`, `limit` (optional) | $0.001 |
| `whale_orders` | The biggest market orders of the last hour on Binance futures, Binance spot and Hyperliquid, with what each Hyperliquid order did (opened, added, closed, flipped) | `token`, `limit` (optional) | $0.001 |
| `news` | Top crypto stories now, with impact score, outlets and the price reaction after each | `token`, `limit` (optional) | $0.001 |
| `sentiment` | Fear & Greed (with yesterday's value), trending coins, market breadth, mood and volatility regime | none | $0.001 |
| `orderbook` | Bid-ask spread, order-book imbalance, buyer share and volume versus normal | `tokens` (optional) | $0.001 |
| `coin_snapshot` | All of the above for one coin in one call | `token` | $0.003 |

You pay only for answers. A request that cannot be answered is never charged (see below).

### Example

Input:

```json
{ "tool": "liquidations", "limit": 5 }
```

Output (a real answer, shortened):

```json
{
  "tool": "liquidations",
  "as_of": "2026-10-23T17:24:00+05:30",
  "data_age_s": 81,
  "window_min": 60,
  "market": { "longs_liquidated_usd": 1432417, "shorts_liquidated_usd": 623706, "count": 1129, "coins": 191 },
  "coins": [
    { "token": "ZEC", "longs_liquidated_usd": 306252, "shorts_liquidated_usd": 96912, "count": 56 },
    { "token": "ETH", "longs_liquidated_usd": 115182, "shorts_liquidated_usd": 59125, "count": 23 }
  ],
  "biggest_anywhere": [
    { "time": "2026-10-23T11:01:11Z", "token": "ZEC", "position": "LONG", "usd": 120031, "price": 1200.31 }
  ],
  "plain": "$2.1M liquidated in the last hour across 191 coins, 70% of it longs.",
  "snapshot_seal": "3711a104ba92fa90f02469aaeea27e69f8ed24593c6862fec3698f409158deb5",
  "price_usd": 0.001,
  "charged": true
}
```

Every response has `plain`, a one-line summary for people and agents, and the full data under `rows`, `coins`,
`orders` or `stories`.

### Use it from any AI agent (MCP)

Agents on Apify's MCP server can find this Actor with `search-actors` and run it with `call-actor`, with no setup.
To give your agent these tools directly, add this server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "crypto-market-data": {
      "url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=zaffy_93/crypto-market-data"
    }
  }
}
```

From code, `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/zaffy_93~crypto-market-data/run-sync-get-dataset-items` with the
input JSON as the body. The data comes back in the same response.

### Coverage

- `prices`, `derivatives`, `orderbook` and `coin_snapshot`: the top 50 coins by traded value on Binance (no stablecoins,
  wrapped coins or tokenized stocks).
- `liquidations`: every Binance USD-M perpetual. That includes a few stock and commodity perpetuals, such as SNDK.
- `whale_orders`: several hundred coins watched for whale orders on Binance futures, Binance spot and Hyperliquid
  (the top 50, 100 smaller spot coins, 100 more perpetuals and about 170 Hyperliquid coins).
- `news`: 31 sources, including Binance announcements, crypto wires, on-chain trackers, 14 news sites, Google News and
  Reddit.

### When you are not charged

The run still succeeds and returns one item with `"charged": false` and an `error` saying why, when:

- the tool or a coin is unknown;
- the data is more than 10 minutes old (the service refuses rather than sell stale data);
- the data cannot be loaded;
- your run's spending limit is below the price.

`data_age_s` in every response says how old the data is.

### Also by this developer

[Crypto Reality Check](https://apify.com/zaffy_93/crypto-reality-check) gives verdicts instead of raw data. Is a move
real or noise? Are whales buying? Is a headline actually moving the price? Every answer is sealed and scored in public.
