## Pricing

from $3.20 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Lidl GB Scraper: Prices, Lidl Plus & Weekly Offers

Get products and prices from Lidl GB (lidl.co.uk) as structured data: price, Lidl Plus price with its dates, was
price, unit price, weekly offers, Middle of Lidl specials with their in-store dates, size, category and image. Read
the weekly offers, the whole range lidl.co.uk publishes, searches, category and offer pages, or products by URL.

The Actor reads the same product data the Lidl GB website shows any visitor, through home (residential) internet
connections in Great Britain. It does not log in and needs no account or Lidl Plus app.

### What it does

- **Weekly offers**: every offer page linked from Lidl's Food Offers and Middle of Lidl pages: Lidl Plus offers
  (current and upcoming), Pick of the Week, themed food weeks and Middle of Lidl specials.
- **Lidl Plus prices** with the dates they apply, including multi-buys ("3 for £1.50 with Lidl Plus").
- **Whole published range**: every product lidl.co.uk lists (704 on 4 October 2026). Lidl GB does not sell
  groceries online, so the site shows a changing selection rather than the full store range.
- **Search** lidl.co.uk for any words. When Lidl answers a search with an offer page, that page's products are
  returned.
- **Pages**: category pages (`/h/...`, `/c/...s...`) and offer pages (`/c/...a...`).
- **Product lookups**: product page URLs or product IDs, 20 per request.
- **One clean row per product**: a product found on two offer pages is written and charged once.
- **Unit prices** normalised to a number and a unit, and pack sizes normalised to grams, millilitres or items.
- **Run summary** in the key-value store (`RUN-SUMMARY`), including offer pages that Lidl links but that are not
  live yet.

### Who uses it

- **Deal and price comparison sites** publishing Lidl's weekly offers and Lidl Plus prices.
- **Brands and analysts** tracking which products Lidl promotes, at what price and for which dates.
- **Grocery apps** that show members' prices next to shelf prices.

### Example

Runs on 4 October 2026, through UK home connections:

| Input | Result |
|---|---|
| Weekly offers | 436 products from 9 offer pages in 13 seconds; 276 with a Lidl Plus price and its dates, 2 more with a Lidl Plus offer Lidl states only in words. 2 products Lidl shows without a price were written free. Two pages Lidl linked were not live (HTTP 404 for any visitor); they are listed in the run summary, free. |
| Whole published range | 704 products in 17 seconds (12 requests). |
| Lidl Plus upcoming offers page | 40 products: 38 with a price, 2 that Lidl shows without a price (written free). |
| Three searches (chocolate, wine, bread) | 55 and 26 products; Lidl sends a search for bread to an information page without products, so it returns none. |

### Input

```json
{
  "weeklyOffers": true,
  "wholeRange": false,
  "searchTerms": [],
  "categoryUrls": ["https://www.lidl.co.uk/c/lidl-plus-offers-current/a10053222"],
- `price` is the regular shelf price; `memberPrice` is the Lidl Plus price for the dates given. For a Lidl Plus
  multi-buy ("3 for £1.50") `memberPrice` is the price per item when buying that many, and the deal itself is in
  `promotions` (`requiredQuantity` 3, `price` 1.50).
- Lidl quotes unit prices for the Lidl Plus price; the Actor converts them to the regular price so `unitPrice`
  always matches `price`.
- `availability` is `in_store`, or `coming_soon` with the in-store date in `availabilityText`. Notes such as
  "Available in England only" are added there too.
- Lidl does not publish barcodes, ratings or stock levels online, so those fields are empty.
- The same fields are used by our other UK grocery scrapers (Waitrose, Ocado, ALDI UK), so their data can be joined.
### Use it from code, automations and AI agents
- **API**: run it and get the results in one call: `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/zaiq~lidl-gb-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN` with the input as JSON. The API tab on this page has ready-made Python, JavaScript and cURL examples.
- **Python** (`pip install apify-client`):
```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient

client = ApifyClient("YOUR_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("zaiq/lidl-gb-scraper").call(run_input={'searchTerms': ['chocolate'], 'maxItems': 20})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(item)
```
- **No code**: connect it to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or n8n from the Integrations tab, schedule runs in Apify Console, and get a webhook when a run finishes.
- **AI agents (MCP)**: add it as a tool to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client through Apify's MCP server: `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=zaiq/lidl-gb-scraper`.
### Pricing
**$4.00 per 1,000 products** (event `product-scraped`, $0.004 per product row). Apify platform usage is included.
You pay only for product rows with a price. Searches that find nothing, failed or blocked requests, products not
found, products found again by a second input and products Lidl shows without a price cost nothing. Examples: the
20-product test input costs $0.08; the weekly offers (436 products) cost $1.74; the whole range (704) costs $2.82.
### Limits
- lidl.co.uk shows a few hundred products at a time, not the full store range; the Actor returns what is published.
- Prices are national prices shown on the website; Lidl Plus prices need the app in store.
- The Actor reads what the website shows; if Lidl changes its site, the Actor needs an update (failed inputs are
  free and listed in the run summary).
### FAQ
**Does it need a Lidl Plus account?** No. Lidl Plus prices are shown on the public website; the Actor reads them
without logging in.
**When do weekly offers change?** Lidl's food offers and Middle of Lidl specials start on Thursdays and Sundays, and
upcoming Lidl Plus offers are listed ahead. Schedule a run twice a week.
**Is it legal?** The Actor reads data the website shows to any visitor. Check Lidl's terms and the law that applies
to your use before you use the data.
This Actor is not affiliated with Lidl.
