## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 posts

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Threads Scraper & Analyzer: profiles, posts, replies and what the replies say (no login)

Get **public Threads profiles, posts and replies** without an account: the profile's **followers, bio and links**, each post's **text, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, shares, date and media**, and the **replies under each post** with their likes.

Turn on the **insights report** and each post also gets **what its replies say**: **sentiment**, **themes**, **questions**, **complaints**, **requests** and **praise**, counted from every reply, with examples. For **brands, creators, agencies and social listening**.

### What you get

| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Post rows | `text`, `likes`, `replies`, `reposts`, `quotes`, `shares`, `date`, `author`, `authorVerified`, `images`, `video`, `link`, `language`, `url`, `code` |
| Reply rows | `text`, `likes`, `replies`, `date`, `author`, `replyTo`, `url` |
| Profile row | `username`, `name`, `bio`, `followers`, `verified`, `links` |
| Insights row (optional) | `summary`, `sentiment`, `kinds` (counted), `themes`, `questions`, `complaints`, `requests`, `praise`, with example replies |
| SUMMARY | what each input returned, notes and what was charged |

### What people use it for

- **Social listening:** what people answer under a brand's or a creator's posts
- **Launch feedback:** complaints and questions under an announcement
- **Competitor tracking:** a rival's latest posts and how they land
- **Creator vetting:** followers, engagement and replies

### How to use it

1. Add **profiles** (usernames) and/or **post links**.
2. Set **Replies per post** and keep **Insights report** on for the analysis.
3. Click **Start**, then open the **Posts** or **Insights** table.

### Input

| Field | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Profiles | `username` | Their latest posts |
| Post links | `https://www.threads.com/@user/post/...` |  |
| Posts per profile | `12` | Threads shows about the latest 11 |
| Replies per post | `0` | Up to about 14 |
| Insights report | on | Needs replies |

### Output

Each result is one row in the run's dataset (download it as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or read it through the API). An example row (values shortened):

```json
{
  "kind": "post",
  "author": "example.user",
  "url": "https://www.threads.com/@example.user/post/…",
  "text": "Big day for the team with the introduction of …",
  "likes": 1072,
  "replies": 1027,
  "reposts": 74,
  "quotes": 30,
  "shares": 29,
  "date": "2026-10-12T17:09:03Z"
}
```

From a run on 17 October 2026 (a tech executive's profile, names removed): 6 own posts, 98 replies and 7 reports; under a product launch post the replies were 41.7% positive and 41.7% negative, with 4 complaints and 4 praise; under another, replies reported visual bugs. A record named `SUMMARY` in the run's key-value store says what each input returned and what was charged.

### Pricing

- **$0.002 per post** and **$0.001 per reply**
- **$0.03 per insights report** (one per post with replies, only when asked for; failed reports are free)
- Profile rows are free; missing profiles cost nothing
- The AI model that writes the report (Google's Gemini Flash) is billed by Apify at its exact cost: about $0.01 a report on 50 to 150 replies (measured 17 October 2026); Apify charges free-plan accounts 10 times that

What typical jobs cost at the list price:

| Job | Cost |
|---|---|
| A profile's latest posts | about $0.02 |
| One post with 14 replies and the report | $0.046 |
| 20 profiles' latest posts | $0.24 to $0.44 |
| 10 posts with replies and reports | about $0.46 |

On Apify's Scale and Business plans the per-event prices are lower (Store discounts). Set **Maximum cost per run** and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached: you never pay more than that.

### Tips

- Give post links of launches and announcements, with replies and insights on.
- Schedule a profile weekly to follow its new posts.

### Use it through the API

**Python**

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("zaiq/threads-scraper").call(run_input={"profiles": ["username"], "repliesPerPost": 14})
for row in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(row)
```

**JavaScript**

```js
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>' });
const run = await client.actor('zaiq/threads-scraper').call({"profiles": ["username"], "repliesPerPost": 14});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

**HTTP (one call, results back)**

```bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/zaiq~threads-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"profiles": ["username"], "repliesPerPost": 14}'
```

### Integrations and schedules

- **Schedules:** run it every hour, day or week from the Apify Console (Schedules) and keep a history of results.
- **Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable:** connect it through Apify's integrations, or send each finished run to a **webhook**.
- **Datasets:** results stay in the run's dataset; export them or read them by API whenever you need them.

### Use it with AI agents (MCP)

Add Apify's MCP server (`https://mcp.apify.com`) to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client. The agent can find this Actor and run it for you: ask it for "what do people reply under this brand's latest Threads posts". AI agents can also pay for runs directly through Apify's agentic payments.

### Limits

- Threads shows a signed-out visitor about a profile's latest 11 posts (fewer when some are reposts) and the first ~14 replies of a post: more need a login, which this Actor does not use.
- Keyword search needs a login and is not offered.
- The report's counts come from the AI's label for each reply: close, not perfect.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Threads or Instagram account?**

No.

**How many posts can I get from a profile?**

The latest ones Threads shows a signed-out visitor, usually about 11.

**Can I search Threads?**

No: search needs a login.

**Can I skip the report?**

Yes: turn Insights report off.
