## Changelog

### 2026-10-14

- New: `ANYWHERE` country for ads shown in any country; country names (e.g. `Italy`) are accepted too.
- New: scheduled monitoring with `monitorName` and `onlyNew`: later runs return only ads the monitor has not returned before, every ad row gets `isNew`, and skipped ads are not charged.
- New: free `advertiser_summary` row per advertiser or domain (`includeAdvertiserSummary`), and a run summary saved as `SUMMARY` in the key-value store (linked in the Output tab).
- New: `maxAdvertisersPerQuery` collects several matching advertiser accounts per search term (e.g. regional subsidiaries).
- New fields on every ad: `imageUrl`, `width`, `height`, `previewUrl`, `advertiserUrl`, `adFormat` (now filled in the results table) and the Google Ads IDs carried in the preview URL (`googleCreativeId`, `googleCustomerId`, `adGroupId`).
- Detailed mode now also returns `regionsShown`, `platforms`, `variationCount`, country names in `regionReach`, and, when Google's ad preview contains them, the ad copy (`adText`), landing links (`adLinks`) and the YouTube video of video ads (`youtubeVideoId`, `youtubeUrl`).
- Search terms that are domains, advertiser IDs or Transparency Center URLs are recognised automatically; a search term without a matching advertiser falls back to Google's suggested domain of the same name.
- Filters are now applied before the per-advertiser limit (the Actor keeps paging for matching ads), and date and single-format filters are also sent to Google. `dateTo` includes the whole day.
- Fixed: ad formats were labelled from the wrong numeric codes (text, image and video were swapped). Labels now follow the Transparency Center codes (1 = text, 2 = image, 3 = video).
- Fixed: runs with `dateFrom` or `dateTo` could fail with a date comparison error.
- Fixed: `includeResolutionCandidates` now really adds the candidates (in `advertiser.resolutionCandidates`), and `retries: 0` is respected.
- Fixed: a detailed ad whose lookup returned no data was charged at the detailed rate; it is now charged as basic.
- Changed: the search terms field no longer defaults to "Nike" for API calls, so runs with only IDs, URLs or domains do not scrape Nike ads too.
- Reliability: Google's CAPTCHA redirect is detected and retried with backoff; proxy sessions rotate every few requests; when Google rate-limits direct requests on the Apify platform the Actor switches to Apify datacenter proxy; input mistakes and unexpected errors end as clear free error rows instead of failed runs; the run stops cleanly before its timeout.

### 2026-10-03

- Lower run start fee: $0.0001 per GB of run memory (was higher), so short runs and AI-agent calls cost less.
- Clearer title and description, and README cleaned up (no duplicated sections).
- Input form: the essential fields come first; optional settings are grouped under "Advanced settings".

### 2026-10-02

- More reliable when Google rate-limits shared cloud IPs: retries now wait as long as Google asks (Retry-After) or back off for several seconds, instead of retrying within a second.
- The example input also includes Amazon's advertiser ID, so it returns ads even when name search is temporarily limited.

### 2026-10-01

- Simpler pricing: Apify platform usage is now included in the per-result price, so you only pay per result plus a small start fee.
- Subscriber discounts on paid Apify plans: Bronze −10%, Silver −15%, Gold and higher −20% per result.
- Prefilled example input, so the first run works with one click.
- New Output tab with a results table and a JSON link for APIs and AI agents.
- README section on using the Actor from AI agents (Apify MCP server) and the REST API.
- Safer memory limits to keep runs fast and costs predictable.
- Residential and SERP proxy groups are replaced by the included datacenter proxy (your own proxy URLs still work), so the price stays all-inclusive.
- At the end of a run, the status message now links to the reviews and issues pages, so you can rate the Actor (1–5 ★) or suggest improvements.
