## Changelog

### 2026-10-02

- Publisher URLs now work for current Google News links: the encrypted `CBMi…` article IDs are decoded through Google's own endpoint. New fields `articleUrlDecoded` and `decodeError` say clearly when decoding was not possible (the Google link is then kept in `articleUrl`).
- Full-text extraction now reports success only when the publisher's page itself was read; Google and consent pages are never returned as article text, and thin teaser blocks fall back to the full page text.
- Full-text extraction no longer rejects publishers hosted on WordPress VIP addresses (for example TechCrunch) as "private" destinations.
- New `timeRange` input for recent news (past hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, year), ideal for schedules.
- New `publishedAfter` input to drop older articles before they are charged.
- New `topics` and `topicUrls` inputs read Google News headline feeds (Technology, Business, Top stories…) or any pasted topic/section page, with no search query needed.
- Regional editions such as `pt-BR`, `es-419`, `zh-Hant` and `pt-150` are now accepted and build valid Google News URLs.
- Invalid inputs (dates, language, monitor name, topics) and feed failures no longer fail the run: you get an `error` row with a clear fix and a status message, and articles already saved are kept.
- Monitor state is also saved when a run is migrated or aborted, so scheduled monitors do not re-deliver articles.
- Publisher domain filters accept full URLs (e.g. `https://www.reuters.com/`).
- Clearer input descriptions with examples for every field.

### 2026-10-01

- The monitor input is now called monitorName (monitorKey still works for existing tasks and schedules).
- Subscriber discounts on paid Apify plans: Bronze −10%, Silver −15%, Gold and higher −20% per result.
- Simpler pricing: Apify platform usage is now included in the per-result price, so you only pay per result plus a small start fee.
- Prefilled example input, so the first run works with one click.
- New Output tab with a results table and a JSON link for APIs and AI agents.
- README section on using the Actor from AI agents (Apify MCP server) and the REST API.
- Safer memory limits to keep runs fast and costs predictable.
- At the end of a run, the status message now links to the reviews and issues pages, so you can rate the Actor (1–5 ★) or suggest improvements.
