# Google Maps Contact Enricher - Emails & Socials (`zhucl1006/google-maps-contact-enricher`) Actor

Add emails, phones and social links (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X...) to Google Maps Scraper results. Give a dataset ID; every place keeps its original fields. $4 per 1,000 websites read; places without website and failed sites are free.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Maps Contact Enricher - Emails & Socials

Turn a **Google Maps Scraper** result into a lead list. Give this Actor the **dataset ID** of a Google Maps run (for example [compass/crawler-google-places](https://apify.com/compass/crawler-google-places)) and it visits every place's website and adds **emails, phone numbers and social profiles** (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok...) to each place. All original place fields (name, category, address, rating, Maps URL...) are kept unchanged.

### How to use it

1. Run Google Maps Scraper (any search). Open the run > **Storage** > copy the **dataset ID**.
2. Paste it into **Google Maps dataset ID** here and start. Optionally add extra website URLs.
3. Download the result as CSV / Excel / JSON. Each row = original place + contacts.

You can also chain it automatically: in Google Maps Scraper add an **integration > Run Actor** and pass `{{resource.defaultDatasetId}}` as `datasetId`.

### What you get per place

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| all original Google Maps fields | `title`, `categoryName`, `city`, `phone`, `website`, `url`, ... |
| `enrichmentStatus` | `ok`, `noWebsite`, `duplicateWebsite`, `blocked`, `unreachable`, `robotsDisallowed`, `invalid` |
| `primaryEmail`, `emails`, `emailDetails` | `info@joesstonecrab.com` (role / same-domain flags, source page) |
| `primaryPhone`, `phones` | E.164, e.g. `+13056730365` |
| `facebook`, `instagram`, `linkedin`, `x`, `youtube`, `tiktok`, `socialProfiles` | profile URLs |
| `contactPageUrl`, `hasContactForm`, `websiteAddress` | contact page, form presence, JSON-LD address |
| `emailProvider`, `hasMx` | Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 ... from MX records |

### Pricing (pay per event)

You pay only for websites that were actually read:

| Websites read | Cost |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.40 |
| 1,000 | $4.00 |
| 10,000 | $40.00 |

Plus $0.00005 per run start. **Free:** places without a website, duplicate websites (chains are visited once), unreachable / blocked / robots.txt-disallowed sites. The Apify Free plan's $5 monthly credit covers about 1,200 websites.

If your **Maximum cost per run** is reached, the Actor finishes the sites in progress and stops cleanly; everything saved is kept and the status message tells you what was not processed.

### How it works (and what it doesn't do)

- Homepage + up to 3 contact pages (contact, about, impressum, team...), plain HTTP, polite sequential requests, **robots.txt respected**.
- No login, no captcha solving, no anti-bot bypass - protected sites are reported as `blocked` and not charged.
- Only contact data the business publishes on its own website. No email guessing.
- Want to check the emails before outreach? Pair it with our **Email Verifier** (syntax, MX, disposable & role checks).

### Legal

Business contact data published on company websites. You are responsible for using it lawfully (GDPR / CAN-SPAM / local rules), e.g. legitimate-interest B2B outreach with opt-out.

### Feedback

# Actor input Schema

## `datasetId` (type: `string`):

ID of an Apify dataset with places, e.g. the default dataset of a Google Maps Scraper (compass/crawler-google-places) run. Every original field is kept; contacts are added to each place.

## `websites` (type: `array`):

Websites or domains to enrich in addition to (or instead of) the dataset.

## `maxPlaces` (type: `integer`):

0 = all places in the dataset.

## `websiteField` (type: `string`):

Field holding the business website in the dataset items. Google Maps Scraper uses "website".

## `skipPlacesWithoutWebsite` (type: `boolean`):

By default places without a website are kept in the output (status noWebsite, free).

## `maxPagesPerDomain` (type: `integer`):

Homepage plus the most relevant contact pages. Same price regardless of this setting.

## `includeDns` (type: `boolean`):

Look up MX records (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365...). No extra charge.

## `sameDomainEmailsOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Drop emails on other domains.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Websites processed in parallel.

## `requestTimeoutSecs` (type: `integer`):

Timeout for each page request.
