## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Hiring Signals - Greenhouse, Lever & Ashby Jobs

**Find out who is hiring - and for what - in seconds.** Give a list of companies; get every open job from their **Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby** job board via the boards' **official public APIs**, plus one **hiring summary row per company**.

Use it for:

- **Sales triggers** - a company hiring 5 SDRs or its first "Head of Data" is a warm lead for your product or agency.
- **Recruiting / staffing** - monitor target companies' new roles.
- **Market & competitor research** - headcount growth by team and location.

### Input

One company per line, any of:

- `greenhouse:stripe`, `lever:palantir`, `ashby:ramp`
- the board URL: `https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb`, `https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp`
- a domain or name: `notion.so` - the Actor tries that slug on all three boards.

Optional filters: title / location / department keywords, posted within N days, max jobs per company. Schedule it daily with "posted within 1 day" to get only new roles.

### Output

**Job rows** (`recordType: "job"`): `company`, `title`, `location`, `department`, `team`, `employmentType`, `workplaceType`, `isRemote`, `url`, `postedAt`, `jobId`, `ats`, `compensation` (Ashby, when published), optional `description`.

**Company summary rows** (`recordType: "companySummary"`, free): `openJobs`, `matchingJobs`, `postedLast30Days`, `remoteJobs`, `topDepartments`, `topLocations`, `newestPostedAt`, or `boardFound: false` if no public board exists.

Use the **Jobs** / **Company summaries** views in the dataset tab to export them separately.

### Pricing (pay per event)

| | Cost |
|---|---|
| Run start | $0.005 |
| 100 jobs | $0.20 |
| 1,000 jobs | $2.00 |

Summary rows and companies without a public board are free. Use filters and "Max jobs per company" to control cost. If **Maximum cost per run** is reached the Actor stops cleanly and keeps everything saved.

### Notes

- Only official, public, unauthenticated job-board endpoints (no login, no scraping of LinkedIn/Indeed, no captcha bypass).
- Companies using other ATSs (Workday, SmartRecruiters...) are reported as `boardFound: false`.
- Want contacts for the hiring companies? Pair with our **Website Contact Extractor**, then check addresses with **Email Verifier**.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line: "greenhouse:<slug>", "lever:<slug>", "ashby:<slug>", a job-board URL (boards.greenhouse.io/..., jobs.lever.co/..., jobs.ashbyhq.com/...) or a company domain/name (we try the matching slug on all three boards).

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep jobs whose title contains any of these (case-insensitive). Empty = all.

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

e.g. Remote, London, Germany. Empty = all.
