## Pricing

from $2.80 / 1,000 public pin delivereds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

## Pinterest Pin Details Scraper

Collect current public metadata from exact Pinterest pin URLs. Give the Actor one to six `https://www.pinterest.com/pin/{id}/` links and receive one source-linked row per useful pin: numeric pin ID, canonical pin URL, visible title and description, social image, and board or pinner URLs when the page exposes them. It suits catalog checks, campaign watchlists, and repeat snapshots of pins you already know. No Pinterest account, cookie, browser profile, search, or board traversal is used.

```json
{"pinUrls":["https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940757/"],"maxItems":1}
```

The price is **$0.004 per delivered pin**, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold/Platinum/Diamond prices of **$0.0036, $0.0032, and $0.0028**. There is no start, diagnostic, or default Dataset fee. Set a positive Max total charge; a positive limit below one result stops before any pin request. Apify may interpret API value `0` as an account default, so it is not a zero-spend instruction.

This compact row comes from a public pin observed on September 12, 2026:

```json
{"pinId":"8585055536940757","pinURL":"https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940757/","title":"Get inspired by the forests | African biome wallpaper, Rainforest biome collage, Wildlife","boardURL":"https://www.pinterest.com/wwfus/pov-youre-in-a-green-club/","sourceURL":"https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940757/"}
```

Only metadata visibly supplied by each canonical public pin page is returned. Missing title, description, board, pinner, image, or outbound link remains `null`. The Actor never derives an outbound link, engagement count, or board contents.

![Workflow from exact pin URLs to bounded source-linked rows](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/IwI7VoxszQjT6v69X/records/pinterest-pins-boards-scraper-31db4f3990f1408d-readme-workflow.webp?signature=1DTzJbTUkAqjf2XilDPq)

### Fields and source boundary

Each Dataset row contains `pinId`, `pinURL`, nullable public metadata, `sourceURL`, and `observedAt`. The Actor accepts only exact HTTPS numeric pin roots, requires an identical canonical URL in the received page, rejects redirects, and limits each HTML response to 5 MiB. It reads at most six pages under one shared run deadline. `OUTPUT` records per-pin coverage and a bounded snapshot.

A profile page's Redux thumbnails are outside this product because they often omit the title, description, outbound link, or board source needed for a useful pin record. This Actor does not discover pins, search Pinterest, traverse boards, paginate profiles, or promise that a pin remains available later.

### Task recipes

Check one verified public pin:

```json
{"pinUrls":["https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940757/"],"maxItems":1}
```

Snapshot the three-pin verified watchlist:

```json
{"pinUrls":["https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940757/","https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940756/","https://www.pinterest.com/pin/8585055536940755/"],"maxItems":3}
```

Use the same bounded input for a repeat observation and compare `pinId`, visible metadata, and `observedAt` between Datasets. A repeated useful row is a newly delivered, billable observation.

### Errors and empty results

A valid page with no useful visible title or description produces no paid row and records its coverage status. HTTP errors, redirects, non-HTML responses, oversized bodies, canonical mismatches, and malformed pages remain distinct source failures. A missing pin in a later bounded watchlist is not proof that the pin was deleted.
