edit: I found include:nativeretweets but it works only within the last 7-10 days or so. It does't suits to my 1 year timeline. I don't quite understand how Twitter handles and User Timeline work. Where can I read about it?

The best way to include all the activity would be to use two search terms at the same time. It can increase your coverage better.

The most important point you have to keep in mind is the time window's size. Twitter has a limitation of around 700-800. This number is dynamic, and there is no exact number on the limitation. Therefore, it is always better to keep your window ranges small. So that you don't hit the limits. We always suggest using monthly windows specifically for the mid-active accounts. The accounts with high activity can be restricted to days even hours.
