Separating a post's BODY data and comments BODY data

I am scraping a specific community's URL....e.g /r/yoursubhere/ .
It appears when data is pulled the BODY field can contain data from the Post or the Comments. The only way to differentiate is by looking at the dataType.
If we look at exporting options (excel, csv, etc.) Is it possible to scrape the comments and put them in a different metadata field than BODY? That way a comment can be associated with a post as opposed to being a new BODY value?
In short, I'm looking for a way to scrape the post and comment(s) and have them be associated with one another.

You should be able to do that using the parentId present in the comment
