I need to scrap comments for my master thesis and tried apify scrapper (httpsapify.comzu). I'm only interested in 1. level comments (no replies). My issue is now that I do not get all comments per post, but only the number I can see in frontend -2. Example: https://www.instagram.com/p/Clx8wSTIRmL/ has 6 comments on 1. level. The output only provides 4. I tested it with another post https://www.instagram.com/p/ClDmZ2DImgl/ and same result. Two comments are missing. I limited comments to 24. So this should not be an issue. Can anyone help please? Thank you 🙂

Hi there, unfortunately it's like this. We can scrape only what Instagram shows without login. We added the information to RedMe so that it's clear. ("Note that the actor returns a maximum of 50 comments per post. It only extracts comments shown to Instagram users who are not logged in. That means the results may differ from what you see when logged in to your Instagram account. To try it out, open an incognito window on your browser and copy the post URL. The comments you’ll see there are the comments that this actor will save in a dataset.")
