Hi - I'm looking for a way to exclude titles. For example, I'm trying to find 'Media Buyers' and 'Media Planners' but NOT Social Media.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out with your query. Currently, the actor utilizes the public API to retrieve the list of jobs, and it does not support excluding specific job titles.

To achieve the exclusion of titles like 'Social Media' while searching for 'Media Buyers' and 'Media Planners,' an authenticated session is required. We are in the process of developing a new actor that will allow searching with such functionalities. This new actor will support more advanced search options, including the ability to exclude specific titles.

We expect the new actor to be released soon, so please stay tuned for updates. Once it is available, you'll have the capability to perform more refined searches according to your requirements.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to providing you with enhanced features soon!

Best regards,

Hi Christian,

Thank you for your patience and continued interest.

We are pleased to inform you that you can now use Boolean search operators with the actor to refine your job searches. This includes the ability to exclude specific job titles. For example, to find 'Media Buyers' and 'Media Planners' but exclude 'Social Media', you can use the following search string:

("Media Buyer" OR "Media Planner") AND NOT "Social Media" For more detailed information on how to use Boolean modifiers when searching for jobs on LinkedIn, please refer to this guide: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a507571/using-boolean-modifiers-when-searching-for-jobs-on-linkedin.

We hope this enhancement meets your needs and improves your search experience. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Best regards, Bebity
