RankingDenominator stats not up to date in France

Hi, First of all i love your API. I have realised that although stats per restaurants seem up to date, stats for RankingDenominator are not up to date in France. It seems, you are providing a stat which has not been updated since a few weeks. Besides that, I have the feeling that TripAdvisor has cleaned its stats for RankingDenominator (sometimes modifying categories) and your DB has not synched with the update. Thanks for your feedback on this...

thanks a lot for reporting this! Actually, all the data we scrape is real time and fully up to date, we do not store it into any database.
That being said, this is a problem from where we take this data. Currently rankingDenominator is taken straight from an API field called ranking_denominator.
It seems like TripAdvisor is doing some magic with the location rankings right now. Honestly it looks like a bug on their site.
These are my tests for hotels:
- Opening a specific hotel page returns
1210rankings. - Opening a hotels search page with hotels only filter returns
1641 - The API field returns
1648
Also it looks like their search for restaurants is broken currently. I'm getting cafeterias in my search, even though I set it to restaurants only... could be the cause of this? Broken search filters?
Anyways, I will keep this issue open and look into this in the future, possibly when this is fixed by TripAdvisor.

Coming back to this, it turns out there are other issues with the API.
We will try to move most of our extracted data to be scraped straight from the website ;)
