ZipRecruiter is one of the largest general job boards in the US, aggregating postings across every industry from thousands of employers and ATS platforms. This Actor searches ZipRecruiter's own listings by job title/keyword and/or location and writes one normalized row per posting: title, company, location, a remote flag, structured salary (min/max/currency/period), posted date, job type, and the apply URL. Filter further by radius, remote-only, job type, and days-posted. Built for recruiters, staffing agencies, job-aggregator operators, and HR-tech builders sourcing candidates or market data off ZipRecruiter.

Do I need a ZipRecruiter account or API key?

No. This Actor scrapes ZipRecruiter's own publicly listed job postings — no login, no API key.

What happens if I leave every filter blank besides Search query or Location?

The Actor pulls the newest matching postings, up to Max results.

Why is salary sometimes null?

ZipRecruiter doesn't require employers to publish a salary. We surface parsed numbers only when the listing shows one, never an estimate.

What if ZipRecruiter blocks the run?

We rotate browser fingerprints, proxies, and sessions automatically. If a run still gets blocked, it fails loudly with a clear status message instead of returning an empty dataset.
