Collect app details, reviews, store charts, permissions and data-safety information from Google Play. Look up package IDs, search terms or developers in one run.

Features

ProcessWhat you get
App detailsTitle, description, developer, category, installs, ratings, price, screenshots, version and update date
ReviewsReview text, star rating, date, helpful votes and available developer replies
Keyword searchApps matching one or more search terms
Developer appsApp portfolios for one or more developers
Store chartsTop free, top paid and grossing collections
PermissionsAndroid permissions grouped by type
Data safetyCollected data, shared data and security practices disclosed on Google Play

Fields depend on the app and country. Install figures are Google's published ranges, not exact download counts.

Get started

  1. Choose a process.
  2. Enter application IDs, developer names or search terms in the matching list. For charts, select a collection.
  3. Choose a country and language, then set the number of results.
  4. Run the Actor and export the dataset to JSON, CSV or Excel.

For app details, reviews, permissions and data safety, use package IDs such as com.google.android.apps.translate. For developer searches, use the developer's name or numeric ID.

Bulk searches and exports

Provide multiple entries to compare apps, search terms or developer portfolios in one run. maximum controls results per input; maxResults caps real results across the whole run. Reviews support up to 10,000 per app, while search, developer and chart lists support up to 250 per input, subject to Google Play availability.

Review rows contain the app ID and a reviews array with one review. App and list rows retain their app fields. Permissions and data-safety records include the app ID. Use rowType: "result" to select source data for analysis.

Run the Actor on a schedule to track ratings, new reviews, app updates and developer portfolios. Connect results to your own tools through the Apify API or export them from the dataset.

Tips

  • Select the country that matches your research: app availability, prices and charts vary by market.
  • Choose newest, highest-rated or most helpful reviews using the review sorting option.
  • Start with direct connections. If Google Play blocks a request, select another proxy and run again.
  • A missing app may be unavailable in the selected country or removed from Google Play.

For support, open an issue on this Actor's Apify page and include the run link.

Unsuccessful lookups

Where listed in the Pricing tab, a handled lookup problem that prevents a run from returning any real results produces one clear error record and a single $0.02 unsuccessful-lookup fee, in addition to any listed start fee.

Pricing

Each valid pay-per-event run with at least one input includes a minimum charge of 100 result units, shared across all inputs in that run. Any placeholder rows are clearly marked and contain no scraped data; filter them out when exporting. Each separate run has its own minimum, including scheduled or API runs. Platform usage is included.
