Google Maps Places Scraper

Extracts source-backed Google Maps business records from current Maps search responses, enriched with exact visible Maps business URLs. It emits only populated fields and omits unavailable reviews, hours, closure signals, and contacts rather than inventing defaults.

Input

Use searchTerms and maxPlaces (1–500 per term). searchStringsArray and maxCrawledPlacesPerSearch remain supported aliases. Optional minimumRating and closedPlacesFilter apply only when the corresponding Maps facts are present. Set language/country, a coherent Chrome fingerprint, and Apify Residential proxy configuration for cloud use.

Output

Records include businessName, Maps/source URLs, Maps identity values, category/categories, full and structured address, contact data, rating/price/open state, coordinates/timezone, and source-backed photo data when available. mapsUrl is always a business URL—not a search or action URL. Known tracking parameters are removed from Maps and business website URLs while canonical paths and useful locale parameters are preserved; technical crawl metadata is intentionally omitted from dataset rows.

Run npm run lint, npm test, apify run, and npm run validate to verify a dataset.
