Avoid duplicates
Closed
Hey, thanks for making this, it's really useful!
I'm just wondering if there's a way to avoid paying for usage to scrape listings that I've already scraped in a past run. If not, that would be a killer feature to add. I expect to run this on the same queries a lot and I don't want to get data from the same listings every time. Maybe it could be the ability to upload a csv of listing IDs to exclude.

Hello, I think that is possible. we will try to add this in the upcoming days.

Hey thanks! Yes can you please add this! A monitor feature would be great that works automatically, without the need of manually adding a csv of IDs to exclude

Could you provide us with a input sample that returns recurring duplicates in order to test the new feature please?

We have released a new version with this feature. Let me know if it meets your needs. The scraped IDs are stored in a key-value store, and the store name is referenced in the logs. If you’re happy with the actor, feel free to leave a review. Thanks!

Hey thanks a ton for getting to this so quickly!! So i just did a run with a max items to scrape (15 listings) and then did another 30 seconds after and it outputted the same listings, i would expect it to ignore those listings and scrape the 15 after that. But instead it outputted the same 15 listings?

I'm reopening the issue to investigate this issue.

There was an issue with storage in apify. It should be working fine now. We added an option in input to activate / deactivate this feature. It's activated by default. Can you confirm it's working from your side?

Thanks for adding it! I won't have a chance to test it for a couple weeks but I appreciate it, I'll let you know if I have any problems.
