I build monitoring scrapers — the kind that answer "what showed up in the last ten minutes?" rather than "dump me everything."

• 🤓 My journey: 8+ years writing code, now building scrapers for fun and business.
• ⚒️ My angle: almost every marketplace scraper does a batch dump. Mine run on a schedule and return only what is new since the last run. That is what you actually want when you are watching a market rather than archiving one.
• 🛠️ My tools: Node.js, Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, Apify and more...
• 🚀 What I have built: a Craigslist cars notifier that has run unattended for months, plus watchers for AutoTrader, Facebook Marketplace and a freelance job board.
• 🔍 What I obsess over: freshness. When one of my feeds says a listing is two minutes old, it is two minutes old — measured, not assumed. That sounds trivial and is anything but, and it is the whole difference between catching a deal and reading history.
