Phone numbers are taken out of titles and descriptions even when they are hidden from filters ("four one five…", "4I5 555 O123", "347* 7548763", keycap emoji), and so are e-mails ("name at gmail dot com") and first names after "ask for" or "call". Community and resume sections (people's own posts) are not read.

How to use it

1. Paste Search links from craigslist, one per line — any city, any section, with your filters. Or type Cities (a craigslist site such as sfbay, newyork, toronto, its name such as "SF bay area", or a sub-area such as "manhattan") with optional Keywords, a Section and the price, seller, ZIP and sort fields.
2. Set Max listings per search. Turn on Open every listing for its details if you need the description and the attributes.
3. Press Start, and download the results from the Output tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

To follow new listings or prices, sort by newest, save the input as a task and schedule it daily.

Feed mode: only new listings + alerts

Run the same search every day and get only what is new. Tick Only new listings (feed mode) and the Actor remembers every item it has delivered for this exact search.

• How it works: the seen items are kept in a named key-value store in your own account, feed-craigslist-listings-<hash>. The hash comes from your search inputs (everything except the feed, alert, proxy and parallelism settings), so each distinct search has its own memory and changing a filter starts a fresh one.
• First run returns everything. Later runs with the same inputs return only items not seen before, each with a firstSeenAt timestamp. Items already seen are neither saved to the dataset nor charged.
• Memory: an item is remembered for 60 days after you last saw it (up to 50,000 per search); after that it counts as new again.
• Alerts: set Alert webhook URL and, when a run finds new items, the Actor sends one POST (10 second timeout, a failure never fails the run). It works with Slack and Discord incoming webhooks, because the body has a text field, and with any HTTPS endpoint:

FAQ

How many listings per search? craigslist lists up to 10,000 results for one search; a live run read all 10,000 SF bay apartments it listed (of 20,893 found) in 221 seconds. For more, split the search by price, sub-area or ZIP distance.

Which countries? Every craigslist city: the US, Canada, the UK and the rest. Prices come in the city's currency (a live run: Toronto in CAD, London in GBP).

Why no phone, e-mail or poster name? craigslist posters are private people, and their contact details are theirs. Contact numbers written in the text are replaced with [phone removed], e-mails with [e-mail removed], a first name after "ask for"/"call" with [name removed], and a private poster's street with [address removed].

Why are some results missing that craigslist shows? When a city has few results, craigslist adds "more from nearby areas" under them; those belong to other cities and are left out. Missed connections, community and resume sections are not read.
