Scrape Fanatics Collect (PWCC successor, #2 high-end card auction) for weekly, premier, and fixed-price lots. Get grader/grade normalization, final-sale prices, buyer's-premium %, bid counts, and eBay vault flags. Filter by category, sport, grader, and price range.

What it does

This actor scrapes lot listings from Fanatics Collect (formerly PWCC Marketplace, acquired by Fanatics in 2024), the #2 platform for high-end sports card auctions after Heritage Auctions.

For each lot it extracts:

  • Lot title, player/subject, year, card number, set name
  • Grader (PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, RAW) and grade normalization to numeric
  • Current bid, opening bid, final sale price, buyer's premium %
  • Bid count and watchers count
  • In eBay vault flag and vault listing URL
  • Auction type, stable lot ID (join key, identical across runs), display lot number, auction UUID, lot slug
  • Image URLs, description, listing status, auction end date

Use cases

  • Price research — track what graded cards are selling for at the #2 card auction
  • Market analysis — monitor weekly auction sell-through rates and bid counts
  • Portfolio valuation — pull current bids on PSA/BGS graded cards you own
  • Deal scouting — find lots with low current bids relative to recent comps
  • Archive research — query past auction results for pricing history

Input

FieldTypeDefaultDescription
modestringweekly_auctionweekly_auction, premier_auction, fixed_price, past_auctions, or lot
maxItemsinteger10Maximum lots to scrape. 0 = everything that matches; blank = 10
cursorstring—Continue where a previous run stopped. See Getting the full catalogue
categoriesarrayAllTop-level category filter(s), multi-select: Sports Cards, Trading Card Games, Other, Video Games, Comics
gradersarrayAllGrading service filter(s), multi-select: PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, Ungraded
subcategoriesarrayAllSubcategory filter(s), free text, case/accent-insensitive, e.g. Pokemon, One Piece, Magic The Gathering, Yu-gi-oh!, Basketball, Baseball, Football, Soccer. Pokemon matches English, Japanese and other-language Pokémon. Unknown values fail the run with the closest matches
keywordstring—Free-text keyword search. Type a card the way you would describe it, e.g. Pikachu SAR SV2A 2024 Korean 231 or Charizard 201/165. If the exact wording finds nothing, the closest match is returned and matched_keyword on each record shows the broader search used (null when your wording matched as typed)

Older tasks: the single-value category / grader fields still work and are converted to categories / graders (RAW becomes Ungraded). New setups should use the multi-select fields. category: "Non-Sport" and category: "Memorabilia" no longer match a site category, so they stop the run with an error instead of returning unfiltered results.

Modes

  • Weekly Auction (weekly_auction) — Active weekly lots (runs while auction is live)
  • Premier Auction (premier_auction) — Premier auction lots
  • Fixed Price (fixed_price) — Buy-it-now marketplace listings
  • Past Auctions (past_auctions) — Sold/completed lot archive (always has data)
  • Single Lot (lot) — Scrape specific lot URLs you supply in lotUrls

Getting the full catalogue

One run can deliver every lot that matches your search, with no cap on result size: the whole weekly auction (about 56,000 lots), not just the first page of results. Each lot appears once per run.

  • Set maxItems to 0 to get everything that matches. The sold archive holds millions of lots, so narrow it with keyword, graders, categories or subcategories, or take it in batches.
  • Batches: when a run stops at maxItems with more lots left, it saves a NEXT_CURSOR record in its Key-value store. Paste that value into cursor on the next run, keep the same search settings, and it picks up at the next lot.
  • Prices move during a live auction, so batches taken over time can occasionally repeat a lot. Use lot_id to de-duplicate.

Notes

  • Weekly auction data is only available while an auction is active; use past_auctions mode for historical data
  • The lot mode accepts direct lot URLs from Fanatics Collect
  • final_price_with_premium / buyers_premium_pct: what the buyer actually paid, filled on sold auction lots. Elsewhere they are null with premium_source: not_exposed_by_source. final_sale_price is the sale price shown on the listing.
  • Lot timing: weekly auctions typically close on Sundays at 9 PM Pacific
  • lot_id is the site's stable per-listing identifier — the same lot polled across separate runs returns the same lot_id, so it is safe to use as a join/dedup key. lot_number is the auction-scoped display badge (e.g. "2089") and repeats across different auctions — do not use it to deduplicate. auction_end_date is always present as a key (ISO 8601, or explicit null when the source has not published an end time for that lot)
