I've spent about twenty years in software infrastructure, the kind of work that mostly goes unnoticed when it's done right. I care about building things that hold up under real conditions, not just in a demo.I like solving a problem once and solving it well, then leaving behind something clear enough that someone else could pick it up without calling me.
