Check an n8n workflow against the live node catalogue on api.n8n.io and list every node type n8n has deprecated and hidden from the editor panel, plus every node running a typeVersion behind the current major. Deprecated nodes keep working in existing workflows until they break, and a new workflow cannot even add one, so they are the first thing to replace when you inherit an old automation.
