GitHub repo search API - export 1,000 results as JSON
The query language:typescript stars:>500 matched 10,950 repositories when this example was measured on 2026-09-13, and GitHub search returns at most 1,000 of them however many match - page 11 answers HTTP 422. This run takes the top 1,000 by stars and says so in the log, with the workaround: split the query by date, for example created:2024-01-01..2024-06-30, and run it again.
