RNS announcements are published through the UK trading day, so an hourly run during market hours suits fast alerts, and a daily run after the close works for a digest. Each run returns announcements in the date window you set, and new announcements show up as new rows; past announcements do not change. If you leave dateFrom empty it covers the last 7 days, so back-to-back runs overlap, and the actor has no new-only mode. Set a narrow date window, or keep only rows whose rns_id you have not seen, and raise maxResults if the window holds more than the default cap. Send each run's results onward with a webhook, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or the Apify API.

What this actor adds is structure and automation: one JSON row per announcement with company, ticker, ISIN, exchange, date, time, headline, RNS category and a source link, filters by ticker, category and date, and runs you can schedule and send to other tools. It is not made by or linked to Investegate or the London Stock Exchange. It is factual public data, not investment advice.

What does a typical run cost?

You pay per result, not for run time: $0.05 for each row in the results, plus $0.005 per run start (charged per GB of run memory, minimum one). A run that returns 25 announcements costs about $1.25. Live prices are always shown in the Pricing tab.

How do I get UK director dealings announcements as JSON?

Set category to "Director Dealings" and pick a date range with dateFrom and dateTo. Other categories include Annual Financial Report, Interim Results, Trading Update, Significant Shareholding and AGM Statement. Each row links to the full announcement on Investegate.

Can I track RNS announcements for specific LSE or AIM companies?

Yes. Put their tickers in tickers, for example ["SGE", "LLOY", "BARC"]. Leave it empty to get every company in the date window, up to the maxResults cap.

Does it return the full announcement text?

No. It returns announcement metadata: the headline, category, timing and a link. The summary field is often the same as the headline. Some fields, such as isin and exchange, can be empty when the source does not publish them.
