🚀 OfferUp Scraper: Listings Near Me, Cars and Prices

Export OfferUp search results for any keyword around a US city, ZIP code or exact coordinates as JSON, CSV or Excel. The OfferUp Listings Scraper returns each listing's title, price, location, photo, flags and, for cars and trucks, the mileage. Turn on full details to add the description, post date and seller rating. Use it as an OfferUp API for local market data, to watch OfferUp cars for sale, or as a Facebook Marketplace alternative data source.

🎯 OfferUp Search Use Cases

  • Watch OfferUp near me: run the same search around your city every morning and see what was listed overnight.
  • Track OfferUp cars for sale: collect asking prices and mileage for a make and model around a city to price a trade-in or spot underpriced cars and trucks.
  • Resale and flipping research: check what iPhones, consoles or furniture really ask for locally before you buy or list.
  • Local price comparison: compare the same search in several cities or ZIP codes to see where a product is cheaper.
  • Marketplace data for analysis: feed OfferUp listings into a spreadsheet, BI tool or your own app, alongside other second-hand marketplaces.

✨ Features

  • Any keyword, any US area: search around a city name, a ZIP code or exact latitude and longitude, with a radius from 1 to 500 miles.
  • Price and condition filters: minimum and maximum price in USD, and new-only or used-only results.
  • Cars and trucks: vehicleMiles is filled for vehicle listings, so mileage comes with the price.
  • Full detail mode: optionally adds the description, how long ago it was posted, the seller's name, star rating, review count and TruYou verification status.
  • No duplicates: a listing that OfferUp shows twice is saved and charged once.
  • Clear run status: every run ends with a status such as "Saved 100 unique listing(s) near Houston, TX", plus why it stopped early (no more results, your max charge, or the run timeout).

🛠️ How It Works

  1. Enter a search query, for example honda civic, iphone 15 or sofa.
  2. Set the area: a city in location, a zipCode, or latitude and longitude, plus the radius and any price or condition filters.
  3. Run the scraper and download the results, or pull them through the Apify API.

⚙️ OfferUp Search Input

FieldDefaultWhat it does
Search Query (query)requiredKeywords as you would type them on OfferUp.
Location (location)—City or place, e.g. New York or Austin, TX. Looked up with OfferUp's own location search.
ZIP code (zipCode)—US ZIP code, e.g. 90012. Takes precedence over Location.
Latitude / Longitude—Exact search center, e.g. 41.8781 / -87.6298. Takes precedence over ZIP code and Location.
Radius (miles) (radiusMiles)50Search radius around the area, 1–500 miles.
Max Items (maxItems)100Maximum number of listings to save, 1–10,000.
Min Price / Max Price (priceMin, priceMax)—Price range in USD.
Condition (condition)allall, new or used.
Scrape Full Details (scrapeDetails)falseVisit each listing page for description, post date and seller info.

Location precedence is latitude/longitude, then zipCode, then location. The status message and the SUMMARY record in the key-value store show the area that was searched. If a location can't be found, the run ends with a clear message and nothing is charged.

Always set an area. Without one, OfferUp picks an area for you, it can change between runs, and some areas have far fewer listings.

{
"query": "honda civic",
"location": "Houston, TX",
"radiusMiles": 50,
"priceMax": 15000,
"maxItems": 200
}

📊 Sample OfferUp Listings Data

A search result for honda civic near Houston, TX:

{
"listingId": "8694db3b-ff12-3206-b000-08c6c5d83bcd",
"url": "https://offerup.com/item/detail/8694db3b-ff12-3206-b000-08c6c5d83bcd/",
"title": "2018 Honda Civic",
"price": 11900,
"isFirmPrice": null,
"locationName": "Houston, TX",
"conditionText": null,
"imageUrl": "https://images.offerup.com/W9TVzQERoSnKzBjSkXJOu4klmXQ=/333x250/2ad7/2ad79ec51bbd4eb1a96f18993586778c.jpg",
"flags": ["LOCAL_PICKUP"],
"vehicleMiles": 105976
}

With Scrape Full Details on, each row also has these fields (from a bike search near Chicago):

{
"title": "QUALITY : SCOTT : MOUNTAIN BIKE : LARGE",
"price": 175,
"locationName": "Lisle, IL",
"description": "Scott : Mountain Bike \n3 piece : crankset\nFinger : shifting \n26 inch : wheels …",
"postDate": "about 1 hour ago",
"sellerName": "FlyinB",
"sellerRating": 5,
"sellerReviewCount": 34,
"sellerIsTruYou": false
}

price is a number in USD and is null when the seller asks buyers to call for the price (the CALL_FOR_PRICE flag). vehicleMiles is only filled for vehicle listings. postDate is the relative time OfferUp shows ("about 1 hour ago"), measured from when the run happened.

🔁 Schedule and Integrate

For local deal hunting or car price tracking, run the same search once or twice a day: each run is a dated snapshot, and new listing IDs tell you what appeared since the last one. Set it up in Apify Schedules. Send the results to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or a webhook with Apify integrations, so new listings land where you already work.

🤖 Use with AI Agents (MCP)

This Actor works as a tool in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients through the Apify MCP server (https://mcp.apify.com). An agent can call it with:

{ "query": "standing desk", "zipCode": "94103", "maxItems": 20 }

❓ OfferUp API FAQ

Does OfferUp have an official API? OfferUp has no public listings API. This Actor is the practical alternative: no key, no approval and no account. It returns the same public listing data a shopper sees in OfferUp search, as structured rows.

Do I need an OfferUp account? No. Only public listings are collected.

Can I search OfferUp in several cities at once? One run searches one area. Start one run per city or ZIP code, or save each as an Apify task and schedule them together.

How do I find OfferUp cars for sale near me? Search the make and model (for example toyota camry) with your city or ZIP code and a radius. Add priceMax to stay in budget. Each row has the asking price and, for most vehicles, vehicleMiles.

Why is a field empty? vehicleMiles is only set for vehicles. price is null on call-for-price listings. The detail fields appear only with Scrape Full Details on. isFirmPrice and conditionText are currently empty in search results; use the Condition filter to get only new or only used items.

Why did my run stop before Max Items? OfferUp shows a limited number of listings per search, so a narrow query or a small area can run out; the status message says when that happened. Large detail runs can also reach the run timeout: the run then stops cleanly with the data it has, and you can raise the timeout in the run options.

What are good alternatives to Facebook Marketplace for local listings data? OfferUp is one of the biggest US local marketplaces, and this Actor exports it directly. For wider coverage, combine it with the Craigslist and Kijiji scrapers below.

Does it work outside the US? No. OfferUp is a US-only marketplace, so every search area must be in the United States.
