With Fetch Item Details on, each listing is billed either as an item detail or, if its item page couldn't be loaded, as a product listing. It is never billed as both. You can cap any run's cost with the Max total charge setting. When the cap is reached, the run stops cleanly and tells you so.

wantCount is Xianyu's "人想要" counter: how many users marked the item as wanted. It is missing when the listing shows no counter. acceptsBargain means the seller accepts price offers. sellerSince is the text Xianyu shows on the seller card, such as "来闲鱼1年" ("on Xianyu for 1 year"). escrowTransaction is true when the item is sold through Xianyu's guaranteed payment.

❓ FAQ

Does Xianyu (Goofish) have an official API? No. Xianyu doesn't offer a public API for reading listings. This Actor is the practical alternative: it returns the listings shown on the Goofish website as structured data, with no API key, approval or developer account. You pay per listing and get JSON, CSV or Excel.

Do I need a Xianyu or Taobao account? Not for the home feed. Keyword search on Goofish only works for logged-in users, so search mode needs a session from your own Xianyu account. Registering one requires a Chinese phone number. Paste the session into Session State (base64), or save it under the XIANYU_SESSION key in the run's key-value store. Sessions expire after a few days. If a search run ends with "Goofish refused the keyword search", paste a fresh session. Without a session, a search run stops right away, charges nothing, and tells you to use the home feed.

Can I search Xianyu by keyword without logging in? No. Xianyu search (闲鱼 搜索) is reserved for logged-in users on the website, so this Actor can't search anonymously. The home feed is the public part of the site, and that's what feed mode collects.

Why are some fields missing? wantCount is missing when the listing shows no "want" counter. The item-detail fields only appear when Fetch Item Details is on and the item page loaded. If an item page couldn't be loaded after several retries, the listing is still saved without those fields and billed as a plain listing.

How many listings can I get? Max Items goes up to 10,000. A 600-listing home-feed run takes about 3 minutes. Runs with item details are much slower because every listing opens its own page, so keep those to a few hundred listings per run. The run stops by itself before its timeout and says so in the status.

How do I track second-hand prices in China? Schedule this Actor daily or every few hours. Keep each run's dataset, or append it to a Google Sheet, and compare prices and wantCount over time for the categories you follow.
