Institutions with thin publication records and few verified researchers score lower, indicating potential credential inflation.

Financial Viability Model projects closure risk at 1-5 year horizons by analyzing USAspending award trends, Grants.gov funding diversity, revenue concentration, and spending trajectory. Rising federal funding dependency combined with declining enrollment signals is a key risk indicator.

Regulatory Exposure Timeline catalogs upcoming Federal Register regulatory changes impacting the institution including proposed Title IV rules, accreditation standard changes, and gainful employment requirements.
